I really enjoyed my Gel Nails and Queen Pedi with Brenda, she did a wonderful job of my french mani. I love visiting BOA for my nails. However, I think BOA needs to invest in more exciting nail varnish colours, if you look at Sorbet's nail varnish, they have a much larger selection. I also think BOA should sell nail polish.

Lovely venue, lovely people, such a treat. Only issue is the quality of the polish isn’t great so I’d recommend bringing your own polish if you not doing gel/acrylic.

Beautiful salon that’s very very clean. Lovely friendly staff. I booked a fullset acrylic with tips and gel polish and was told when paying that certain colours (bio) are an additional R70 which caught me off guard a bit seeings my booking did include gel polish.

Gingerlily Spa is always fantastic. Great, personal service, with top quality treatments. My pedis always last for weeks (even with non-gelish polish), far, far longer than those I've had at chain salons, and even longer than one I had at a very expensive 5-star place. I won't go anywhere else!

Got my first acrylic set removed by Shamima and she was fantastic. Truely took so much care into my nails and made sure that they were removed safely. I've had rushed and painful soak off experiences by other nail techs causing me to have sensitive and even painful nails for a few weeks. She even re-painted one of my nails after I accidentally smudged it. Poise and Polish is my new 'go-to' spot and I'm so happy I found them. Excellent service and staff who are so welcoming and warm.

I went for a Hollywood wax and was so happy with the whole process. The previous wax I had was sugaring at a different salon and it was so painful so I was nervous. Sune was really calm and reassuring and the wax was basically painless. She's very professional and knows what she's doing. They're based in a really cute salon in Newlands and the whole experience was wonderful.

A lovely, tranquil experience as always at Origin Wellness Spa. The Spa pedicure with gel polish session by Tammy was so relaxing. Tammy is warm, friendly and professional - a true gem and asset to this wellness spa. The foot and lower leg massage was pure heaven! I floated out of there on Cloud 9. My experience with Stefanie was phenomenal. She’s a rare gem. I had a manicure and pedicure done along with massages and by the time I left the spa all I wanted to do was take a nap. Thank you Spa at Banksia, I will definitely be back.
