Best Hair Salons near me in Buckhurst Hill, London

Tatyana has been my hairdresser for around 10years. I don’t live in the area and travel to where she is so I can get a cut and colour. I’ve lived abroad and still waited till I’ve been back in the UK visiting to book an appointment with Tatyana. I’m now moving completely out of London and will still make the two hour drive to see her when I need my hair done. I’ve tried other hairdressers but none compare and instantly regret not travelling to get my hair done by her. I have thick frizzy hair and she always does a wonderful job. Such care and precision. She truly is an amazing hairdresser.

This was my first time at SixtySix and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. I had Claire as my stylist and though I had trouble describing the look I was going for she seemed to know exactly what I wanted. It’s rare for me to find a salon that really understands what works for curly hair but this has to be the best haircut I’ve gotten in a good long while - I can’t stop smiling when I look in the mirror. 10/10, will definitely be returning for my next trim!!

Honestly smashes it every time. I always just trust her to know what to do, and don’t think anyone makes me feel as confident as Amy does. A hairdresser that KNOWS how to make you look and feel good - a need in life (not to be dramatic).

THE ABSOLUTE BEST HAIRDRESSER! She knew exactly what i wanted and didn’t compromise my length or my hair’s health, my hair turned out so nice a blended and natural looking. Throughout the whole appointment she explained how to take care of my hair, products i should used, how to style my hair. 10/10 experience and results!!

Maya is incredibly friendly and professional. I had been going to the same hairdresser for eight years, but after he moved away from London, I struggled to find someone I could trust. I even tried colouring my hair at home, which was a terrible mistake! Thankfully, I found Maya. She completely transformed and restored my hair. The result was amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. This was my 2nd visit to the salon and Lara was my stylist this time, and she did an incredible job. My hair wash was very thorough and incredibly relaxing—definitely a highlight of my visit. Took my 7 year old in for a wash cut and blow today which was very reasonable at £25.00 but gave £30 with a tip. Looked great but the only criticism I had was there was no communication the whole time we were in there. When you go to a hairdressers especially in the middle of Loughton or any Essex high street you expect a friendly hairdresser that talks to you. There was no communication with me or my child for the whole appointment, just silence. I would come back again but I’d prefer to be spoken to.

Been using Annabel for 5 years for tape hair extensions and would never use another stylist, her precision and expertise is impeccable. I had used other salons and hairdressers in the past and had always had issues but since I have used Annabel I have been super happy with my extensions. I cannot recommend her enough, she will always make sure you are happy and will offer you a full hair consultation before any treatment. She now also is my best friend's and daughter's colourist also. Thank you so much for my 6 weekly refit and cut today.
