Getting started is straightforward. Just order your Fresha card terminal through the Payments settings in your account and we’ll ship the device directly to you.
When your terminal arrives, it’ll look something like this. Let’s unbox and turn it on together!
The terminal is pre-set to work with your account, so it’s already prepared for activation.
Now, let’s head to your Payment settings in your account to activate the terminal. Activation only takes a few seconds. Just click activate here and follow the steps through, like this.
All terminals come with a built-in cellular connection, meaning it’s ready to use with on-the-go reliability. But it also comes with Wi-Fi too, if needed.
And just like that, the terminal is connected to your account, ready to accept payments immediately. Now let’s give it a test run!
When you checkout an appointment in Fresha, you’ll see this new card terminal option on the payment step. Once you choose this and continue, your terminal will automatically display the payment amount to the client. It all works wirelessly so you don’t need to type anything into your terminal.
If you’ve set up tipping in your Fresha account, the terminal will automatically prompt clients to leave a tip before continuing to payment.
When they’re ready, clients can tap, insert, or swipe their card to pay. Terminals also support mobile payments like Apple pay and Google Pay. And if you’ve set up receipts, the terminal will automatically print it out.
