John Jones and the team at Offcut barbers made the decision to switch to Fresha as plans to ease lockdown restrictions were announced in May 2020. Since then, they have used Fresha's market-leading barber software to reconnect with their core values and refocus their energies on their clients.
We sat down with John to find out about his experiences since switching to Fresha and which features have been most beneficial for his business.
When did you switch to Fresha and why?
We switched to Fresha after the first lockdown to help manage our responsibility to our customers and the community to store track and trace data. We also wanted to minimise the amount of people waiting on benches or outside as this would have been a social-distancing issue.
Which features are most valuable for your business and why?
The ability to track sales on a daily basis and the analytic capabilities of the app have been amazing. Our accountant accesses the reports directly and it made the month-end so much easier.
We also love the feedback we get through the app and the star rating for each barber - a real motivator for our staff to keep doing such a great job.
What's changed for you and your business since switching to Fresha?
Firstly, we now run appointment-only in all our shops - it's so much easier and means the team all now get a lunch break together in the middle of the day. We are also completely cashless, so no tedious trips to the bank, cashing up, and instant visibility on cash flow.
How does Fresha compare to other booking software providers out there?
Fresha has been so good for our business, we honestly haven't looked around. If it ain't broke...
How would you rate the value for money?
Great value, and completely worth the money.
What would you say to someone looking to switch to Fresha?
If you want to reduce your admin and accounting, while making the booking and payment experience for your customers more streamlined, then don't think twice!
