Cloisters Spa is set in The Parsonage Hotel in York. Set in six acres of beautiful formal gardens and only 15 minutes away from the historic city of York, our spa facilities include 5 treatment rooms, a 16-metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, state-of-the-art gymnasium, sauna, steam room, and aromatherapy salt room. We use Natural Spa Factory products and leading British Spa brand Elemis and specialise in their ‘touch’ therapies. OPI products are used in our hand and foot treatments. Guests over the age of 18 are welcome to make use of the adults-only Cloisters Spa.

Excellent Facial and Massage from Lucy. Lucy is super friendly, warm, welcoming and professional. She explained the steps of the facial and the massage to me perfectly and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The facial was extremely relaxing and my skin already looks brighter, refreshed and calmer. The shoulder and neck massage helped massively to relieve the stress and tension I hold in my shoulders especially from working 11 hours at a desk every day. My favourite part was the carefully done hot oil scalp massage, it is so relaxing and my hair feels amazing. I cant recommend Lucy enough

A place with such potential to be a good spa but morning welcome was poor(none existent and lady was more keen to tell us what we couldn’t do! ie walk around with bare feet so we had to pay £2 for slippers we couldn’t wear at pool side!!!) changing rooms very run down and desperately needs a make over…..along with other areas of the spa and hotel. Pool area was good but a member told us that the pool side was hardly swept….infact there were things under a table which had been there since August! And lots of dead flies) what did redeem the place was the spa treatments we had were 10/10
