A builder gel overlay is a durable, gel-based layer applied over your natural nails to add strength, smoothness, and light-to-moderate length without using tips or full sculpting. It combines the protective benefits of hard gels with a thin, natural look—ideal for clients who want reinforced nails that still look and feel like their own.
