Deep Tissue Massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It is used for chronic aches and pain and helps to break up scar tissue that forms, reducing tension in muscle and tissue.  It can be an excellent stress reliever, lower blood pressure and heart rate and rehabilitates injured muscles.
Please note that you will be asked to remove some clothing for this treatment.
Please note - one booking per month, 4 in a 12 month period.  £5 deposit required on booking.

Deep Tissue Massage       

 Swedish massage: This treatment aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. It works on soft tissues and muscles to restore health and can help with tension in back, shoulders, neck - or any other area you would like the therapist to focus on.  A treatment uses a variety of different massage strokes and pressures easing back and chronic pain. It can help to reduce stress - both physical and mental and can leave you feeling deeply relaxed as well as energised.

Swedish Massage            

During a hot stone massage, the techniques of a regular massage are applied.  However, the therapist also works with hot stones that are placed on specific parts of the body. This treatment helps relieve muscle tension and pain, increases blood flow to affected areas and promotes relaxation. It can also increase flexibility, promote sleep and may help with some autoimmune diseases and rheumatoid arthritis.  It can also reduce stress and anxiety.  This treatment is not suitable for pregnant women or people suffering from heart conditions.
