A gel manicure involves applying a gel-based polish that’s cured under a UV or LED lamp, leaving a chip-resistant finish that can last up to 2–3 weeks. It’s applied on your natural nails and includes shaping, cuticle care.

Best suited for: clients who want a longer-lasting polish, prefer a natural-length nail, or want a low-maintenance, glossy finish with less chance of chipping than regular polish.

Not suitable for: clients wanting added strength or structure, or those with very soft or brittle nails that need extra support. (extensions cannot be added to this service)
Recommended alternative: For more strength or to help grow your nails, we recommend BIAB Manicures.

GEL MANICURE

BIAB (builder in a bottle or soft gel) is applied directly to your natural nails—perfect for nail biters, clients with soft or bendy nails, or those wanting to grow or maintain short nails. The strong yet flexible gel protects your nails, helping prevent breakage and encouraging healthy growth over time.

Not suitable for clients with long nails, as BIAB is too flexible to support extra length. For long nails, we recommend switching to Hard Gel for added strength. 

This service includes a solid gel colour overlay (no nail art) if you would like a design painted, please add nail art to your booking!

BIAB MANICURE 

Gel X is a soft gel extension system that uses pre-made full cover tips, giving you instant length with a lightweight, natural feel. The tips are adhered to your nail using gel and cured under a lamp, then shaped and polished to your desired look. Gel X is ideal for those who want beautiful nails without the long-term commitment.
Best suited for: clients who want instant, natural-looking length, prefer a lightweight feel, are new to having nails, or are booking for a special occasion or one-off appointment. Also ideal for nail biters who want to start with more length before transitioning into BIAB.
Not suitable for: clients who use their hands heavily for work, as Gel X is more prone to lifting or damage under pressure.

GEL X EXTENSIONS 

A Hard-gel infill is a maintenance appointment to refresh your manicure as your nails grow out. Recommended every 2-4 weeks. Instead of removing everything, we safely file back the old product and refill the grown-out area to keep your nails strong, healthy, and looking flawless.

This services includes a solid gel colour overlay. It DOES NOT include fixes or nail art. If you need fixes or would like a design painted please add to your booking!

If your current nail set was completed by another salon or artist outside of KBS, you are required to book a Foreign Infill. This allows us additional time to properly assess, evaluate, and safely infill your nails to our standards. The foreign infill is available as an add-on service and will appear as an option to select when you proceed with your booking.

HARD-GEL MANICURE INFILL

Nail removal service for manicure/extensions such as biab, hard-gel, gel x, polygel etc. Includes cuticle work, buff and shape. 

For removals with a new set please select the nail removal add on in additional to the new set you’re after. 

MANICURE/EXTENSION REMOVAL SERVICE 

Hard-gel manicures are applied directly onto your natural nails it adds strength and structure. It’s ideal for clients whom already have length and need extra support to prevent breakage or lifting. Best suited for: clients with medium to long natural nails, or those whose nails frequently break or bend with BIAB due to too much flexibility.

Not suitable for: clients who are current nail biters or have short nails - for these clients, we recommend BIAB Manicures instead.
