ike a deep tissue massage on steroids, a sports massage is ideal for anyone struggling with pain or discomfort in a specific area. Usually   Whilst sports massage is the ideal remedy for athletically-induced aches, it’s also brilliant as a preventative treatment for the active to keep injury at bay.

With an emphasis on increasing circulation and minimising inflammation, the massage can be slightly uncomfortable at times, - be vocal and let your masseuse know if it feels uncomfortable or too much pain 
The massage will also lower your blood pressure and heart rate, whilst boosting your lymphatic drainage system and helping to improve flexibility, making it ideal as a performance aid for seriously sporty types.

It’s a treatment probably best avoided if you have any open wounds, varicose veins, thrombosis, tumours, melanoma or haemophilia due to the nature of the massage, and it’s not suitable for anyone with infectious skin diseases.

CBD Pain management Massage

Aromatherapy massage uses essential oils which absorb into the skin to aid better health and wellbeing. In addition to the wonderful blends of oils being gently massaged into the skin, the gentle aromas assist in uplifting our moods to increase feelings of wellbeing. 
This is a relaxing  massage using a combination of eastern and western massage techniques .    
This  massage is a holistic treatment that can help to relieve tension and reduce many symptoms associated with stress and anxiety. The result is the perfect balance of mind and body.
Essential oils are powerful extracts obtained from flowers, herbs, spices, grasses, resins and bark and are capable of being absorbed through the skin for therapeutic effect. Here at natural light our in house Aromatherapist will hand mix the oils specifically for you  Each client’s treatment will therefore be unique. 
If you would like a full body massage you would need to book a 60 75 or 90 min session  which would include head, face and feet .

This massage will leave you deeply relaxed , here at natural-light we use a range of techniques the massage itself is very slow and flowing with only the flat of hand or forearm used . This is a full Body massage and uses hand blended oils to aid your deep relaxation. 

Total Relaxation Massage

There are five types of stroke that make up the traditional Swedish massage technique. . The therapist will use their hands, forearms or elbows to rub your muscles in long gliding movements pushing blood in the direction of your heart. Here at natural-light we use a blended  essential  oil  to help with movement. There’s also kneading and tapping and your limbs may be bent and stretched a little bit. This Massage is brilliant at combating stress and relaxes the body. It’s not just about getting rid of those knots or for super sporty people. Your circulation and lymph system are boosted and long term this massage  can help with chronic pain.

Swedish massage 

A deep tissue massage is a particular massage technique that  sustained pressure to target the inner layers of muscles, deep below the surface. It’s used primarily to treat musculoskeletal problems and to aid recovery from vigorous physical activity or sports injuries, but it also has wider applications that can improve the body of anyone working at a desk for long periods of time or people with poor sleeping patterns .
