Visiting Edinburgh for a wedding and needed an updo for my hair. The staff were very welcoming, including the dog, and was able to get an appointment for the weekend as a walkin. The stylist, Bronwyn, was very friendly, asked for my preferences and made suggestions. I loved the final look. Would highly recommend this hair salon.

Neve gave me such a great haircut! I finally feel like I’ve found my hairdresser in Edinburgh! She listened to exactly what I wanted and took the time to understand it, rather than just doing her own thing. I’m autistic and can be quite particular about my hair, and I also get quite nervous at appointments, but Neve made me feel completely comfortable and never made me feel like I was being difficult. Thank you so much, Neve. I absolutely love my hair and I’m so relieved to have found someone I can trust 🥰

Would highly recommend the curly cut. I booked a curly cut with Neve, who listened to me, cut my hair with care, washed it and used specialised products to style. She took her time carefully blow drying with a diffuser. My hair looks much healthier and was super curly with no frizz. A day later I like it even more as it has dropped into my naturally looser curly style, with great shape. Thanks Neve!

This was my first time visiting Citrus. Lois was so lovely to talk to and she did a fantastic job on cutting my hair, which was well overdue for a trim! She really made sure it was perfect and topped it off with a fab blow dry!

Nikola is quite genuinely the only hairdresser I have ever gone to more than twice!! She’s the sweetest, funniest person with the best chat and is so creative. Any colour or cut she has suggested and done for me over the last few years has been excellent. She just did a bouncy blow dry for my big birthday and I absolutely loved it!

Wow, I could not be happier with my appointment today with Eva. She has corrected my awkward highlights to a beautiful natural looking blend which she expertly guided me towards after precise and expert question to identify what I was looking for. The shape and styling of my curls was perfect with helpful and practical advice for maintenance and home styling. Perhaps the best hair appointment I’ve ever had. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My partner and I have both been seeing Florence for over a year now, even followed them to their new salon, and every haircut is better than the last. As anyone with curly hair knows, finding a stylist you trust with your curls feels like winning the lottery and I most definitely feel like I have with Florence. They are not only a fabulous stylist but are just such a lovely person in general—feels like getting your hair cut by a friend! Would absolutely recommend booking your next appointment with them!

A very satisfied returning customer, Aimee goes above and beyond to listen to what I want done and delivers every time. I went from dark brown (natural colour) and asked for blonde (as light as she possible could). She explained in depth what she was going to do and I was very pleased with the end result. She is very talented at what she does and extremely welcoming and friendly. I’m so glad to have been recommended Cascal by a friend as I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
