Amazing! Shamal was so kind, gentle and patient. This was my daughter’s first haircut and she hates her touched, somehow she remained calm and he even braided her hair, a little bow and beads with glitter. Did not expect any of that but so appreciated! We will be back and I will recommend to friends and family.

Absolutely amazing experience today with our 2 ASD children. She was incredible with knowing how to navigate behaviours. Absolutely in love with the mermaid braids! So much love going into a simple haircut and braids! Will definitely be making starkids our regular go to for haircuts and styles!

If you have a little one who is scared of getting their hair cut, come see Shamal! My 3.5 year old son had developed a fear of going to the hairdresser. In just one appointment, he went from a kid who cried and screamed, to one that was laughing. He still had some apprehension but Shamal was so patient and kind. He took the time to explain each step in the process and made it fun! Now my son tells me he’s not scared anymore and he’s excited to come back again next month! We had a great experience! My 2.5-year-old cried throughout the entire haircut, but the barber was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding. He never rushed and did an excellent job despite the challenge. The haircut turned out great, and we’re really grateful for his professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend, especially for parents with young kids!

I’ve been taking my son here for about a year so far! And the experience every time has been spectacular. In particular with Shamal, he every time is incredible with my son (who is 2 now) I try to book with him everytime I go, he just knows how to handle kids, is gentle and patient with his approach, my son also acts the most comfortable around him. Certainly has patience of a saint! Well done!
