Mia gave me the best Bio Gel with shellac manicure! She took great care to make sure my skin was not stuck anywhere around the edges, she thinned out the nail to a normal thickness (which was very much appreciated), and was even able to accomplish the almond shape with my length. I've had other nail techs tell me my real, long nails are too short... I paid extra for complicated nail art, and it was well worth it. Just make sure you go in with a reference photo. Perfect nails every time! I love this salon and I recommend it to all my friends. Eme is so lovely and warm, and always gives great advice to keep my nails in optimum health (important when you are doing acrylic tips). As an aside, processing fees can really add up for small business owners, so I usually just pay cash.

As always, my experience at Bloomfield Beauty Co was 10/10. My daughter is turning 5 on the 12th, and has been wanting her nails done at a real spa for some time now. I booked her in for a manicure with Brittany and a pedicure with Catherine - who are also her Auntie’s. We were greeted with Happy Birthday wishes from all of the staff and beverages to enjoy during her services. Brittany and Catherine were so patient with her, and accommodated her very specific rainbow request. It’s an experience she won’t soon forget! Today was especially different because entertainment was provided. Ruby was in with 3 of her friends for her 7th birthday. The demand was high but the nail filllers were adept, efficient and excelled in flowers on tiny nails. It was a morning spent with laughs and excellent service from Alannah!

First time and I would 10/10 recommend her to everyone! She brought me in before my appointment to check out my nails/explain everything to me, and we decided on an overlay. I went to my appointment not knowing what colours/designs to get so I let her surprise me and they turned out amazing! Very professional, clean and personable, which makes the time go by super quick!! I only usually get my nails done for special occasions but I may have to make an exception in the future!

Beauty Basics by Amy is an absolutely excellent one stop shop for all beauty needs. Their space is so thoughtfully designed. It is quite a busy space but is absolutely serene when you enter. It never feels loud and distracting. I have been very pleased with all the services I have enjoyed. Amy, the owner, runs a great business.
