My hair is very short, buzz cut actually. But, Jamila makes me walk away looking and feeling like I just received a silk press without the chemicals, lol. I love it!!! I highly recommend this shop. Come to Brooklyn and walk out strutting, like I did! 🤩

The salon’s etiquette and ambience was nothing less than perfect. It was my first color and silkpress, Jahlena did a great job styling and educating me on my natural hair. After a 1.5 hr long commute; she has a loyal client! Can’t wait to return for Jahlena to style my hair in a few months.

I love Jamila and she is the ONLY person I trust in my hair (I wear a low pixie). She is an absolute perfectionist and takes her work seriously. She is also very down to earth, kind-hearted and I appreciate seeing a high level of precision, excellence and detail in her work, the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the shop—everything. I always have a good time, she’s never unreasonably behind on appointments and there’s wine, chocolate and alkaline water while you wait. She also doesn’t tarry and works efficiently. 10/10 easily.

I just got my hair pressed and the girl did such a good job… wtf? I didn’t even know my real hair could be so straight and look like this… I’m literally amazed. (I think her name was Michelle?? Sorry, I might be wrong. The girl from Florida! 😉) She did great!
