I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. Kay was a really lovely young lady. She took her time, explained what she was doing when asked. Also gave me advice and tips for my hair. She had a great disposition and was very accommodating. I haven't had my hair done in a long time and she made me feel comfortable. Hair turned out great. Loved, loved, my hair. Highly recommend.

I loved the entire experience—from booking to styling. I placed myself on the waitlist and was able to book an appointment and get in a chair all within 48hrs. We started on time. Shannon did an amazing job with washing and detangling my hair. Lauren did an amazing job with my silk press, bob cut, and styling. This was a big step for me and I felt extremely comfortable and heard. I also now know what I should and shouldn’t be doing with my hair. 10/10. I’ll definitely be back.

Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

He walked me through each part of my styling, his attention to precision was unlike any I have experienced before. My hair looks and feels incredible, he knew how to accent and frame my face. Amazing! Called for a last minute silk press on a Saturday (yes.. I know! 🤣) and the service and vibe was exceptional! All of the stylists are friendly and know exactly what to do. This amazing black owned salon is an experience its self. From the cleanliness to the ambiance and the hospitality! You’re greeted and welcomed by amazing staff and high quality service. I’ve had the pleasure of booking with my hairstylist Cara, twice and Tash Blaque and every time I’m pleased and blown away with the experience I received. Cara is such a pleasant spirit and an even better hairstylist. She’s experienced and loves to make sure her client leaves content and satisfied. I booked the sew in experience and received a wash and set, blow out and styling with my ready installed weave.

London is absolutely wonderful, and I’m so tempted to gatekeep and keep her all to myself, but she deserves the praise! You can tell that she actually cares about the health of your hair, and she’s not trying to rush through the process to get her money and push you out. My hair got some serious TLC and I left with my hair feeling so moisturized and soft. She also had a ton of recommendations that I’m looking forward to using at home. London knows how to run her business, she’s professional, smart, funny, and I cannot wait to go back!
