I came to Tala Beauty Bar for laser hair removal on my back and shoulders. They use the Venus Velocity diode laser, and the results have been impressive even early on. It’s rare to find this level of technology and quality at such fair pricing in downtown Toronto. Mina was excellent and very patient, and she made sure everything was done properly. I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. I’ll be continuing the rest of my treatments here. Highly recommend.

Emily is definitely one of the most talented and qualified nail techs in Toronto. I'm so impressed with the quality, shape, and design of my nails. My experience was good. The salon was clean and there were a lot of shellac colour options. The reason I deducted a star was because it wasn’t clear before the appointment that they charge $10 for shellac removal if done at a different salon. Also, the manicure area setup wasn’t comfortable, the chair was too low and extending my arms out while leaning forward made my neck hurt by the end of the appointment… I voiced this to the technician but she just smiled and didn’t offer any modifications. Overall, it was an okay experience, expected a bit more based on the reviews and price.

KuoQi Nails is by far favorite nail salon, and I've been to a lot! The atmosphere is very relaxing and it's the cleanest nail salon I've ever gone to. The nail technician's really take their time to care for your nails. Most nail salons I've been to butcher my cuticles and care only about how the colour looks and not about the health of your nails. KuoQi is different as I've never had any redness or flaking of skin from improper cutting of my cuticles (they only remove dead skin around the nails and dont actually remove all your cuticles). No matter what I get done my nails always look great!
