11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

10/10 experience. From the moment I walked in, staff listened to what I wanted, but was also realistic with me in what I was able to achieve based on my hair. They listened to my concerns every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my hair. They educated me and recommended products to make sure I'm able to upkeep and maintain my hair. David even went beyond the services I originally came in for, giving me a partial keratin treatment and dust-cut to make ensure I left there confidently. Loved the staff, would absolutely recommend & return back as a customer.

Ainur is incredibly talented and pays amazing attention to detail with every braid she creates. I’ve gone to her multiple times for special events like HYROX competitions and the Pride Parade, where I wanted colorful extensions braided into my natural hair. The braids always look beautiful, are comfortable, and hold up for days—even through intense athletic events. I highly recommend Ainur to anyone looking for high-quality, creative braids that last!

Wonderful service! Natsumi really took good care of me. She listened to my requests and added some suggestions of her own before starting the haircut. The wash was super relaxing as well. Jamal, and his assistant Talia, are extremely kind, utterly professional, thorough and an absolute joy with whom to spend the afternoon. Jamal is a wizard with sensitive hair, and fixed my damaged hair so that it looks and feels healthy and amazing!! It was a great blessing to find them; I only wish they were in New Jersey :-) so I shall have to go up to New York many many times in the future!!

Last year I accompanied my friend to V&C Image and she got a haircut, scalp massage, and blow-dry, and she only had to pay $60 for everything. Yesterday, I got a keratin treatment at their salon for $450. They suggested a dry haircut since I can't wash my hair in 3 days for the same treatment, and it had an $80 surcharge. I didn't expect the haircut to be free, but I did expect it to be a bit more equivalent since it was just a trim without a blow-dry, and I didn't ask for it and it was in addition to the initial treatment.
