I went for a haircut and blow dry and it was worth travelling an hour to this studio. Such warm and lovely people. Kate did my haircut and she exactly knew what I wanted and also guided me throughout on what might look good and how to maintain further. She is also so amazing to chat with and her years of experience and professionalism shows in her styling and service. Also, compared to millions of other “best in Melbourne” well known termed salons I tried, stardust studio was actually worth it and was budget friendly. I will be back every time I need a new me look💖😊

I’ve been coming to Hair by Hong, Oakleigh for over a year now and this is the only salon I come to while living in Melbourne. I have pretty thin Asian-style hair and I personally feel this is the only place who understands how to handle and cut my hair to my style/taste! My hairstylist is Bella, and she is amazing, always knows what I need! My experience has always been fantastic- from the front of house greetings, hair washed, and cut. It has been nothing short of professional and I always feel welcome. Such a friendly, comfortable, chic, & professional ambience and team!

Whether you’re after a classic cut, a buzz cut or a quick line up or just a tidy-up, I highly recommend checking this place out. Great place for a child cut too, they may need to just consider the music they’re playing when kids are present. Otherwise the lads in this place are great at what they do and professional. 5stars

Haircut was great, it looked wonky at first but it’s a trust the process situation. Great attention to detail as well. Sorry, I forgot her name but the girl with pink pretty nails did my hair and she was great, plus you don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. In conclusion, great place, great atmosphere, and amazing haircuts.

Jacob was amazing with my 8 year old son! Iwe requested a specific cut and to get it better than we envisioned. He still checked in with my son throughout making sure he was happy and gave him a wash too which was very sweet. As a Mum of two boys, this has been the best experience at a barber shop! Thank you!
