Fresh out the chair, the fade is absolutely lethal. Clean taper on the sides, crispy lineup sharper than a new blade, and the top sitting perfect like it was handcrafted by the rugby gods themselves. Hair looking so smooth the aunties gonna say “sheeesh, that boy been blessed.” Every angle is dangerous, cuz. Front profile tidy, side profile elite, and the back? Oi, proper cinema. Best barber in glasgow. The Man has got some serious skills. Like a greens keeper with the clippers and like a Samuri with the Scissors. Hes obviously been doing it a long time and it shows. His attention to detail and customer service skills are second to none. It took me a long time many barber shops to find a service a good as this. Highly recomended. Best make an appointment as he is in high demand!

Always live my visits to Salt House. Alex is an amazing Barber, with plenty of banter and conversation. My hair cut is brilliant, I've previously gone with a high fade but Alex advised me to drop to a low fade so she could cut in some shape. I couldn't be happier with the results. I made the mistake of going to another baber and they shaved all the shape out for a high fade. Just because someone can fade with clippers doesn't mean they can actually cut hair. Alex can do all of the above and more and sorted out my previous barbers mistakes. What a ledge

Got my haircut by my guy Alex yesterday—walked in looking like I’d been dodging mirrors, walked out so fresh I got hit on later at the mall. No lie: went in single, came out with a date. Late night booking was a lifesaver as a solo parent, super convenient and easy to organise. Booked my pre-teen in for a fade (or whatever it’s called in teenage language these days) the young barber was amazing. He actually listened to what my son wanted and executed it perfectly. Safe to say… I now have a very happy young man in the house. Direct quote from him: “Vibe is good… music was a little slow this time but I get it, they’re old and it’s almost bedtime.” 😂 Thanks again guys, we’ll definitely be back!

I'm in the difficult "in between" stage of trying to grow my hair longer now I'm out of the corporate world of neat, tidy, short clippers fade up the side kind of looks. Went in today, looking like a brillo pad (pot scourer?), thinking I should be going to a hairdressers now instead of a barber due to the length and what I want..couldn't be more wrong, Wali once again absolutely came to the party! Great scissor trim, with explanations around what he's doing and why, and what I can expect for the next couple of months in terms of growth, walked out with a great cut and tons of confidence!

When I arrived for my booking at 10.40am, two male barbers were sitting in chairs, one blow drying his own hair while the other one was playing with his phone. There was a female barber cutting a child's hair. Both the men ignored me and didn't even acknowledge I was there. I sat down. Finally the lady finished the child and asked me to come and sit and she cut my hair, very well, professionally and she was pleasant and chatty. Not sure what was going on with the two men, but it wasn't a very professional look for your business which is normally impeccable at Basildon Mayflower.

Mani is a brilliant barber, she takes the time to understand what I'm wanting each time and does a banging fade. She's also an excellent listener!! The vibe of the shop is lovely, warm and inviting, as a queer woman in an often male dominated space, I feel super comfortable there. Highly recommend!!!

It was great. Met a barber who has been there for a while and had him for the first time today. His name was Riley, and it’s safe to say he is an expert. Not only if u come here as a new customer, This man WILL make you feel welcomed and give you the haircut you asked for. For me I walked in today not knowing what I really wanted, maybe just the sides shortened. But then this man mentioned The BURST FADE. I was instantly attached as I was ready to give it a go for the first time. Once it was complete. I couldn’t asked it to be any better. THANKS RILEY. And cheers staff. Have a good day lads.

Sol is an absolutely fantastic barber! He was so patient and gentle with my 2-year-old — because of his calm approach, my son actually felt comfortable enough to let him use the clippers, which is a huge win for us. Sol is extremely professional and clearly takes great pride in his work. My older son (7) had a skin fade, and as always, Sol made sure it looked absolutely perfect. His attention to detail is second to none.

Top notch experience, every time. Jeny has a ton of experience, and it certainly shows in her work. As a guy, I wasn’t sure what to expect going to a female barber. However, I’m happy I did; I can honestly say she gives a better fade than most of the male barbers I’ve been to. Aside from her quality of work, she’s very friendly, down to earth, and personable.
