My wash was extremely relaxing, loved the way Chrizelle blow dried and flat ironed my hair. Many hair stylists struggle to get my curly roots but she was 100%. She engaged in conversation and it was super comfortable, I feel so much more confident after doing my hair and coming this satisfied from a hair salon isn’t always the case for myself. I hope and pray for a safe and healthy delivery for her and her baby girl. She will definitely be seeing me when she is back. Thanks to Chrizelle and the team for making my experience nothing short of pleasurable.

I was actually very happy with my stylist. Everyone was warm and friendly and they have great facilities. Everyone was also very very accommodating. But the color burned my skin in front so I think the timing was too long. And the pricing should have been discussed before any actions taken because I was told that the trim was R150 and cut was R200 - my receipt shows R300.

Leah just did my hair and I’m absolutely in love! She’s not just talented, she’s genuinely kind and took her time to listen to exactly what I wanted. Her hands are magic, my hair feels healthy, soft, and it looks even better than I imagined. The whole experience at JEMS was so warm and relaxing, but Leah really made it special. Had highlights previously put in round January for my birthday and because I have always loved the colour red on hair, I had to have Nicole try and see... and after her going through the red... she found the prefect shad which I am in love with ... she knew just what I need and how... love it

I throughly enjoyed my treatment at the salon. The salon was very neat and tidy and the hairdressor was very friendly and polite. The products used are very good and i will definitely go back again .

I caught on nonsense with my hair and neglected it, I thought i would have to do a big chop because of all the damage, Priscilla hid the damage so well and now I dont have to do a big chop, in stead I decided to do a wash and bow contract so I can be committed to get my hair healthy again, Culture Vulture always did what was best for me, im never going to a different salon again! I like the laid back, easy going vibe of Culture Vulture. Priscilla was very pleasant and went out of her way to make sure I got the colour I wanted. Strand test and then full colour treatment. Mary did not disappoint, I mean… she never does! I asked for a butterfly layered haircut and she gave me exactly that with added bounce and shine! I must say, the students from College of Cape Town are exceptional at what they do too. The head massage was the best it’s ever been. Wonderful experience.
