Scissors were used by Hayley close to my scalp. After about 20 minutes I didn't have as much hair. No matter how much I asked her she refused point blank to tell me how it had happened. In olden times that kind of magic might have led people to call her a witch. However, because it is in Brighton that might of never happened here as it is accepting of lots of weirdos. A pleasant experience that I would urge anyone to try - drop me a line if you work out how the hair becomes less.

An amazing first visit to Cuttlefish Brighton. Jasmine did such a fantastic job, she really took her time and gave some great advice too. Lovely atmosphere, friendly people and a brilliant haircut. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cuts for my daughter and I with Nathan & Craig - as usual! Having seen loads of curly cut people both in Brighton and London, I can honestly say Riot Crrrl comes out on top. They really listen to what you want, but are also just so creative and give great advice. The salon itself is really welcoming, fun and cosy. Just the best. PS - they also have a curly haircare range now, which is fabulous! 🎉

It was my first time visiting Riot Curl and I wasn't disappointed! Nathan was lovely and so good at what he does!!! Loved meeting him and chatting to him and will definitely return. The only downside is that I live in Cambridge and my new hairdresser is in Brighton, but what's a couple of hours down the road? 😊

Came to Brighton for a friend’s hen do and booked for a blowdry with Christine. Such a lovely experience and my hair looked great and lasted perfectly. Super speedy too, while still giving perfect service. Very happy and I’ll be booking in for the wedding weekend too!

jessie is consistently skilled at what she does. She took my hair from box dye brunette to a lovely natural blonde colour and now maintains it with an appointment every 8 weeks or so. I have no hesitation recommending her.

Had my hair coloured, highlighted and tinted by Janet. It was a dark block colour from years of doing it myself. She talked me through each step and although it took some time I am really pleased with it. It has totally transformed it and looks totally different, fab colour and the result is great. A great manicure. I was visiting Brighton and this was the closest salon. I got a booking very quickly and efficiently all done online. I got there and was met by Ashley who was incredibly patient (it always takes me ages to choose a nail colour!) Then she removed my previous gel nail varnish with such care and professional skills. And did an excellent gel manicure, taking such care and was very kind and considerate. I had had a long day and was exhausting and Ashley’s care and excellence ended my day perfectly. I only wish this was my local salon! Thank you Ashley for a great manicure!

I was visiting Brighton from Leeds for a family wedding, I met up with my sister in law who had travelled from Ipswich. It’s hard choosing a hairdresser when you don’t know the area. We both requested an ‘updo’. We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. The prices I would say were more than value for money. Jess is an absolute gem. From start to finish, every appointment I've ever had with her (& there have been loads!) has been genuinely professional. This time around, it was the T-section highlights with a complimentary toner, root touch-up, and an express blow-dry - perfectly balanced and natural. The colour is spot on. Clean, even, and beautifully blended seamlessly. My roots look fresh, and the finish feels healthy and polished. I would absolutely recommend Jess to anyone looking for someone who knows their craft and truly cares about the result. xx
