It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Kayla is great! I was initially worried about getting a weave because I wanted something natural, but Kayla braided and sewed in the hair in a way that makes the weave look like my own hair. I travel from Jersey every two weeks to get my hair done here and it’s so worth it.

Flew from Dallas to get the amazing services at Sew Brooklyn by Janice. Janice was so nice and professional. I loved my versatile sew-in. I haven’t had results like this in years. The shop is also beautiful, clean and offer drinks upon arrival by their great staff. Stellar shop!

As you walk in the door of Sew Brooklyn you are in for a treat! Well, at least thats what it was like for me. I had read the reviews and did my research for top Hair Salons for black hair in Brooklyn. It was all positive feedback for Sew Brooklyn. Today I am adding mine! This Hair salon is the best by far! Loved the cleanliness, the ornate and luxurious, setting; even my black and white poco-dot apron! I am a regular! From this moment on. Oh, yes, loved my hair! Shampoo, Conditioner, a Rinse to cover my gray, a short, slick, Bob Cut all for a reasonable price! Treat yourselves ladies!

Came in for a consult with Jai, I love her work but her personality was really the pull for me. Her extensive knowledge on the complex case of my hair confirmed for me, I did the right thing. I had such a great experience with Jahlena! My haircut came out excellent, and she really took the time to explain what I need to do to get my hair back healthy and strong again. She educated me on how often I should come in for trims and gave honest, helpful advice about maintaining my hair properly. Her vibe was so friendly, welcoming, and professional, and she made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. I truly appreciated how knowledgeable and caring she was. I’ll definitely be taking her advice and giving braids a break for a while so my hair can regain its strength.

Jahlena is very knowledgeable on Hair and makes sure to educate you. She won’t provide a service that will be detrimental to the integrity and health of your hair. She is very patient and explains throughly why some request are not good options and gives alternative suggestions. I am grateful and blessed to have her hands in my hair. Katelyn has the most gentle hands and gives the most therapeutic hair wash. She massages your scalp and leaves you wishing it lasted longer. The salon is very professional and welcoming with luxury equipment. I would definitely recommend.

This was my first time as a client. I was a complete mess, needed help badly… walking in I felt the warmth and ambiance immediately, I was welcomed and everyone was so nice. The good part about this establishment is when your appt is at two, you’re seen at that time. Daley did my assessment and talked me through each procedure. I’m so happy with what was done to my hair, I feel like a new person. As for ALL the workers, they’re all so talented, hands that make hair grow, healthy and groomed to perfection… TY so much for making me feel Beautiful… I will definitely be there on a regular basis ❤️

This amazing black owned salon is an experience its self. From the cleanliness to the ambiance and the hospitality! You’re greeted and welcomed by amazing staff and high quality service. I’ve had the pleasure of booking with my hairstylist Cara, twice and Tash Blaque and every time I’m pleased and blown away with the experience I received. Cara is such a pleasant spirit and an even better hairstylist. She’s experienced and loves to make sure her client leaves content and satisfied. I booked the sew in experience and received a wash and set, blow out and styling with my ready installed weave.

Went in for a Sew maintenance and is in love with the way my service was performed. I was very impressed. Also did a Silk Press on my daughter and the results spoke for itself, everyone was in love with it. She has a long full head of hair and the care that was put into caring for it during the service was amazing. Thank you London for your continued great work, the best. Continue to Sew to greatness 😊

Amazing experience. All of the ladies in the shop were sweet and helpful. My hair came out amazing Shawanda styled my hair beautifully. I haven’t had a sew in in almost 10 years so it was wonderful to be so well taken care of. Shawanda also suggested some great products for upkeep and I purchased every one of them. I will definitely be back for maintenance and future new styles.

I am in awe of this salon. Every part of my experience was delightful. I have intentionally avoided salons for the past few years because of some horrible experiences. I felt like the pain, tension, and breakage wasn’t worth the styles I wanted, and I would always leave feeling dissatisfied. The experience I had today felt healing. The process was seamless, relaxing, and fun!! The stylists are charismatic and incredibly talented. Not to mention the delicious mimosas!! So I am on a healthy hair journey and I have chosen the perfect person to be on this journey with. I had very badly damaged hair. Was tired of putting weaves in to hide it as well as the braids. I also do not like my hair short. My stylist Treshawna is continuing to bring my hair back to life. You have to just trust the process. Very happy every time I go!

I had the best time with Monique at Tash Blaque today! On top of the excellent quality of her work (my hair is soooo soft and looks so good), she was so kind and professional. I loved how clean, spacious, and relaxing the salon is. I also appreciated the time Monique took to explain what products and techniques I should use at home to maintain my style and protect my hair’s health. I haven’t been to a salon in a long time and was quite anxious, but Monique was amazing and I can’t wait to return to her chair.

Honestly, I love my hair! It was my first time here, and my hair was pretty damaged, but she completely brought my vision to life. It feels so much smoother now, and she gave me great tips on how to maintain it. Everyone was so lovely, and the whole experience truly lifted my mood. So happy I came in!
