It was lovely to meet Skye while we were visiting Mackay. She gave a lovely curly kids cut to my 11 year old daughter, sharing her knowledge on how to take care of young hair. My daughter is very happy with her new hair.

The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed... Was taken to my chair and offered head massage. Then taken to basin for hair washing ...massage chair was great ....Linda explained what would be the best cut for me ... and I was very pleased with the result 😍😍

Highly recommend. This was my first time at Avaia Hair, had a style cut from long to a shorter hairstyle by Rochelle who did an absolutely amazing job. Loved the little complimentary welcome shoulder massage too. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing salon! From the moment you walk in the door you can feel such a great vibe! I had a fairly disastrous experience with a salon in Mackay, however Rochelle put me at ease straight away and did an amazing job with my hair! I can't wait for my next appointment!

Avaia Hair is my happy place. All the ladies here are lovely. My hair feels so soft and looks amazing after each visit. Overall, I’d say there is no salon in Mackay that comes close.

This has been my best experience with getting my eyebrows, lashes and hair done. I usually only get a trim due to bad experiences with other establishments but I am glad I got the style cut. The products used and the atmosphere of this place is beautiful. And to top it off the ladies who work here are such beautiful people. So kind and well catered service, they had a perfect blend of work to talk ratio. As a person who doesn’t like small talk and gets awkward in these situations, I am grateful for this experience. Linda and Sarah are amazing at their work and will definitely have me returning
