Based on my experience Adrien is the best hairstylist in San Francisco. Hands down. Your hair will still look fantastic weeks after he does his magic. That’s a sure sign of talent and skills. I have trusted Adrien with my hair for years and never once looked back.

Kelly is a fantastic person and a fantastic stylist! She always listens carefully to what I want, and she creates the most flattering haircuts and color. I can’t imagine seeing another stylist. Plus, Kelly is incredibly upbeat and fun to talk to. I always look forward to my appointments with her, and I know I’ll leave looking fabulous!

Lunar hair salon has one of the best customer service care. They treat you right and my stylist scissor skills are amazing. It was like a movie where hair was flying everywhere and the execution of my haircut was top tier. 10/10 would recommend.

Steven is the best! Truly an professional artist and stylist. Ive been searching for a salon and stylist and found one at Lunar. He can fade, taper, perm, dye and scissor work asian hair which is one of the hardest skillets in this industry. He is patient, attentive and has the ability to match the style and esthetics of his clients every detail and needs. Thank you Steven and the staff at Lunar. You guys bring the asian hair salon experience to the East Bay. You will not be disappointed.

I came in for a trim, but ended up leaving the appointment with bangs + feeling an extra dose of confidence about my look coming out of the appointment! I thought the hairdresser took a lot of care and attention on my hair. At one point, I asked her what type of bangs I should get. I have a receding hairline & thin hair. She examined my hair, and offered her input, and suggested side bangs. I trusted her judgment and asked her if we could do bangs, and I'm simply amazed. I felt super confident coming out of the hair salon, because of my new haircut. Coming back again!

Angie is not only a wonderful stylist, she is a very lovely person and cares about making her clients happy. She has a a great eye and cuts precisely. I have been veys happy with my haircuts. Her cuts do my fine hair justice.

We tried many salon in the past and everywhere but we found Adrien in SF! More than 15 years with Adrien! Always professional and so friendly …🙏💙 He is so talented… the best hairdresser in SF! The cut is perfect and the single process color too! We are driving more than 1 hour and Half each way to meet Adrien who knows perfectly what we want! Do not hesitate to book .. in advance!

My first haircut with stylist Kelly was amazing . I showed her a picture of what I wanted and we discussed and agreed on the length. She meticulously cut my hair, dried it , straightened it , and finished the ends perfectly. She is also very relaxed and personable and has over twenty years of experience.

Minnie was an amazing hair stylist! I loved the products she used. My hair feels so soft and healthy again. I had a root touch up, partial highlights and a haircut. Minnie always explained the products before using them on me. I've never had this experience before. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I feel like a new person again. Thank you Minnie!

Friendly and welcoming experience for sure. Sho made the long process of lifting my hair from black to a gorgeous purple/blue/teal super easy. It was so relaxing I highkey almost dozed off a few times. Thank you for the haircut, color, and the food (sorry my hair took so long to lighten!); couldn't have asked for a better stylist especially for my first color and bleach.

I went in for a haircut, something simple and felt feeling beautiful! I was well taken care of by my stylist Nielle. Not only was she kind but extremely knowledgeable, she listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. It can be intimidating going somewhere new with someone new but I felt seen and safe! I will continue to come to David James with Nielle for all my hair needs! Plus, the staff were extremely friendly and the salon was clean and beautiful!
