I’ve been coming to Haiier in Flushing for over two years and usually have great experiences with my stylist, Eden. However, my last visit didn’t meet expectations. The price for a women’s haircut has gone up a lot, and the gap between men’s and women’s cuts feels too large. Eden seemed rushed, likely due to walk-ins, and he forgot to style my hair, which was always included before. He was also rougher with my hair than usual, and with my sensitive scalp, I expected more care. Despite these issues, I still trust Eden and Haiier and hope this was a one-time mistake.

Dorela did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I have very thick & wavy hair, so I was a little nervous at first, but Dorela was fantastic! I did the keratin treatment and got a haircut, and she was very precise and took her time with every step. Dorela also keeps her salon super clean. I had a men’s haircut with Luyao and was really impressed with the level of detail she put into it. Even though the shop was busy, she took her time to be very precise with my cut. I have hair that can be difficult to work with, but she was meticulous in her approach going beyond simple cutting and carefully debulking where needed. Most places I’ve been to either rush through or struggle with my hair, so I really appreciated her commitment to getting it right. On top of that, she was both friendly and focused throughout the whole process

I Always refer my friends here! Been seeing Jeong and his assistant for years. I always leave with beautiful hair. He knows exactly what hair cut I want and I have done toning and bleaching with him as well. Always looks amazing. He is so good at getting the color right and I never have brassy yellow or orange hair. He cares for hair to be healthy and will not do something to it if it will cause too much hair damage. Truly hair professionals.

Rex was perfect and I would definitely go back for another haircut! He was very understanding of what I wanted (trim with curtain bangs and layers), and I felt so confident after it was done. He took his time with the haircut, and styled it so well at the end by giving me more volume and curls. He’s definitely a master of his craft—I’m very happy. Also, the woman who washed my hair was very thorough, and her massage felt so relaxing!

I came as a walk in around 1pm on a weekday. I was greeted promptly. I got a quote for a haircut and color and was seated right away. My haircut and color turned out great. If I had to critique one thing is that their products didn’t have the best smells.

Last minute before a trip, I realized how bad of a hair color touchup I was in need of and my usual place was unavailable, so I decided to swing by the studio to see if there was any chance there for highlights. Dori was super nice and was willing to accommodate me last minute, even staying late since that was the only time I was available too, and she did an absolutely fantastic job!
