What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

I had a phenomenal experience! The stylist and salon staff were all super welcoming and good energy. The stylist ran through my hair, made sure I was comfortable and gave me intentional recommendations based on my needs. I was very nervous - especially as someone who is a hijabi and has Lupus- my hair has been a sensitive spot for me. However, on Sunday mornings they made sure to accommodate and make sure there were no men! She also was extremely knowledgeable of the medication I take for Lupus and how it can impact hair health. Overall, it was amazing and I will def be back!

From the moment I arrived Jahlena was extremely welcoming. She did an in depth consultation with me about what I wanted and what my expectations should be. In the end she's came up with an amazing color! Exactly what I was thinking. You can tell she knows what's she's talking about! The appointment felt comfortable and was entertaining. Shalayna is amazing! I went to her for the first time a little over four months ago because I wanted a silk press.
