Everyone is warm and inviting , while being professional and knowledgeable !! They are respectful of your time, and truly listen to what you want. If you are looking for that boogie experience with friendly, and extremely capable staff then this is the place for you! Mystic Roots is a lovely spot found in an unassuming, yet quaint little shop nestled near the downtown core of Cobourg. Treat yourself, it’s worth it!

I was happy to discover Mystic Roots after moving to Cobourg. After more than 19 years with the same hairdresser in Toronto, I was concerned to give my hair to someone else.. But Alayna did a good job. I am very happy with the result. Thanks

I was very worried if I would find someone to give me a haircut here in Cobourg, after being with my hairdresser Kim in Toronto for almost 20 years. I was searching for a local lash artist since moving to town and couldn’t stop looking at this portfolio on insta. Meeting Andrea she is the SWEETEST, she knows her stuff and made awesome suggestions for what works with my eye shape but was also receptive to what I wanted as well. I’m so happy with my new set and I can’t wait to go back for my fill. Such a great find in Cobourg 🥰

I always enjoy coming to Mystic Roots, everyone is always friendly and welcoming. Plus, unlike some salons, no attitude! It’s very relaxing and I always feel like a million bucks when I leave.

Emma was lovely, she did an incredible job with styling my hair when I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted she helped with ideas. She also helped me with some makeup I had brought with me. The only feedback I have that's negative is she did scratch the inside of her nose and then touched my hair...I'm a bit of a germaphobe so that was unpleasent. But I would be back again due to the excellent customer service otherwise.

I had such a great experience with Finley! She took her time with my haircut and was incredibly meticulous, paying attention to every detail to make sure everything was just right. I never felt rushed, and it was clear she genuinely cared about the quality of her work and making sure I was happy with the result. She was also so easy to talk to and had such a warm, positive energy that made the whole appointment enjoyable. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!
