Had a piercing done yesterday at Empress Piercing in Barry and Lucy was absolutely amazing. She was professional, friendly, calming, and clearly very experienced. She talked me through everything, helped me choose jewellery options, and made me feel completely at ease throughout. I left feeling so much more confident and empowered. Highly recommend Lucy and Empress Piercing to anyone considering a new piercing!

My daughter wanted her helix and conch pierced for her birthday. Having previously had both her nose and her daith pierced by Lucy in your Barry shop, there is nowhere else we would go now! As always, Lucy took her time, cleaned everything down in front of us, explained the procedures and was just so lovely with my daughter (aged 13). She is already planning several more piercings and there is only one person for the job - Lucy! Thanks so much Lucy

I always have a brilliant experience with Empress Piercing, but I absolutely adore Seren as she did my first piercing with Empress and now is always my first choice when I want a piercing done. I've had my helix, nostril, chest dermal and industrial done in the Barry shop, with absolutely no regrets. Everytime I come for a piercing, a jewellery change or a check in I feel so welcome and the ladies never make you feel like any of the questions that you ask are silly. They are just excellent and the environment in the shop is lovely x Thank you so much and I'm sure that I'll be back soon!

Thank you to Natasha who was awesome. I had my septum and ear lobe done. She was very reassuring, really friendly and helped me feel at ease. Would highly recommend going for a piercing here and as a local to Barry, I hope to come back again some time soon!

I had a great experience at Empress in Barry today. I went in to have my Helix re peirced, however they were able to still put an earring through, so I was really pleased that I didn't have to have it redone.

I came in today as a walk in needing some help with a piercing that I had done in August 24. I changed my nose stud after waiting for the time I could however I didn't put the right nose ring in it's place which caused a iratation bump and the piercing closing due to the thinness of the ring. Lucy came to my rescue and put a new nose stud in and gave the irratation bump some TLC. I wouldn't of got myself into this trouble if I had gone into the studio for a a jewellery change. Lesson learned and hopefully this feedback encourages nobody to make my mistake. Thank you so much for your help Lucy

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I’ve now been pierced by both Kate & Tasha and both times have been outstanding. They are amazing people, so friendly, patient and understanding, especially if you’re anxious about getting pierced! Kate pierced my philtrum and Tash gave me a new septum piercing after a horrendous previous experience with a different piercer. This time was completely different though and I am so grateful for the positive experience - I love my septum piercing now! Gorgeous range of jewellery too. Best place for piercings I’ve ever been to, hands down!

I’d highly recommended Empress Piercing to anyone after a new piercing. I had a walk in appointment initially for a jewellery change but ended up with 2 new piercings as well! Lucy was so lovely and helpful. I already have a fair few piercings and so Lucy was able to advise the best place for the new ones based on my anatomy, and then even advise on the best jewellery for it. They both look lovely and the aftercare advice was great as well. Will be coming back for a downsize eventually! (and maybe another piercing or two lol)

I got my conch pierced today and for my first ever cartilage piercing I couldn't have asked for better service. It was pierced by the manager of the store who explained the aftercare procedure and showed me jewellery to suit my style. The studio was clean and I was given clear instructions on what to do whilst being pierced so that I was safe and comfortable. Thank you so much for this great addition to my ear.

Had such a fabulous experience getting my nipples pierced by Lucy for my birthday today!✨ I’ve always been self conscious about my boobs & I was pretty apprehensive today. I’ve been talking myself out of getting these piercings for years! But Lucy was able to put my mind at ease & make me feel incredibly comfortable within minutes! Her calm demeanour whilst talking me through the process & explaining everything to me as she was doing it really helped. I love my new piercings! Thank you so much! Would definitely go get another piercing by Lucy again, she’s great at what she does!🫶🏻

I am super appreciative for this piercing experience - I came in to get my septum done, patience around choices and help with that was fab. I love my new septum piercing! Looks lush. I was worried about it clashing with the nose ring I already had, and then they offered to try and get a stud through, since my piercing was quite thin, which we managed! So now I have a new gold ball nose stud, to better fit with my septum and managed it in the same appointment. Just amazing, thank youuuuu !

Kate was absolutely amazing as always. Always so kind and friendly. She reassured my mother who had her Daith done and supported her throughout. She then helped me to decided where I wanted my next piercing on my ear and helped me change my jewellery on a few previous piercings xx

This is my 4th piercing at Empress and definitely wont be my last! I had booked a navel piercing as a reward to myself for losing a lot of weight, Lucy was super honest and helpful. She informed me that my anatomy wouldn’t support a navel piercing due to a bit of loose skin over my belly button, I expected this but hoped wouldn’t happen, I am super appreciative of the her sensitivity about it and her honesty. Lucy let me pick any other piercing and jewellery and I (sensibly) opted for my tragus to be pierced instead. I’m absolutely in love with it and would recommend Lucy to anyone!

What a fantastic little business! My daughter had her nose pierced. The piercer was very friendly and reassuring, showed my daughter the variety of jewellery, and explained each step, putting my daughter at ease. Aftercare was explained well. Both daughter and I are planning our next piercings at Empress! Thanks for a great visit!

Always a lovely experience in empress piercing! I always look forward to seeing the girls and how lovely they all are! I’ve had quite a few piercings and jewellery changes done with them and I wouldn’t go to another studio again! I have never had any issues, they’ve given great advice which has helped hard to heal piercings I’ve had trouble with heal in no time! Can’t wait to come back for more!
