I had my hair coloured by Summer today and am so pleased with the results. My hair feels refreshed, smooth, sleek, and in great condition, and the colour looks fantastic. Summer is highly skilled, professional, super friendly, and easy to talk to, making the whole experience really enjoyable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented hairstylist.

Just had my first ever keratin treatment with Michael. I am beyond happy with my hair! I’ve never had such smooth, frizz free hair! It’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done for my hair, no more frizz and so much easier to manage. It is worth every penny!! Once again Michael has worked his magic. The best in the business!!! Had a lovely experience at Redlocks. Hugo was really professional and made me feel really welcome and comfortable throughout. We had a quick chat at the start of the appointment and he listened carefully to what I wanted, and always took the time to explain what he was doing to make sure I was happy. I left the salon with gorgeous, healthy beach waves that lasted all day and still looked lovely even after being out all evening (almost unheard of in my fine, flat hair!). Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good hair salon in Bournemouth!

Emma has been cutting/colouring/straightening my hair for many years now. I’ve moved salons with her and even travelled back from Italy for her to do my hair when I moved out there for a couple of years. I trust her completely to be honest with me about me hair and I’ve walked away 💯 satisfied every time. I can’t recommend her highly enough (and no, I’m not related!😆)

My first time at the salon today. It’s cosy, friendly & welcoming which felt good on a grisly rainy morning. I booked with Michael for a keratin smoothing treatment. He had answered a few of my questions beforehand over WhatsApp. Then in the salon he gave me a full consultation about the treatment and potential outcomes. It was very reassuring as I’ve never had a treatment like this before. I’m absolutely delighted with the outcome. My hair feels so soft and silky. I can now face the winter months without frizzing each time I step out of the door! Thank you!

I had a blow dry with Summer and she was absolutely excellent. She was friendly, professional, and took great care to make sure my hair looked exactly how I wanted it. The blow dry looked fab and left my hair looking smooth, shiny, and full of volume. Summer's attention to detail and expertise were clear throughout the appointment. Michael has been doing my hair amazingly for over 2 years now. My latest visit I mentioned to him that my scalp has been sore, he got his microscope and had a look at my scalp for me, he noticed I could possibly have an infection, gave me the photos and told me to go straight to the pharmacist! I did so and they prescribed me a treatment shampoo and it’s immediately started helping! There is no ends to the knowledge this man has about hair and scalp health!! Can’t thank him enough, so helpful. You’re in safe hands with Michael I can assure you!!

Paula was so lovely. My first time coming here/ finding a hairdresser in Bournemouth to go. I’ve always been scared to try somewhere new. However, the minute I went there it was perfect. I love all the flowers and decorations in Redlocks, I think it’s really nicely designed and everyone is so welcoming. One of the best haircuts and dye that I’ve had and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be coming back here when it needs doing again x I really love it thank you🩷

Michael is an amazing hairdresser. I have long, thick, curly hair, and for years, I struggled to find someone who knew how to cut it in a way that worked with its natural shape and texture (so many stylists default to blunt cuts, which just don’t work for curls). I’ve been so impressed with how confidently and skillfully Michael layers my curls. He creates shape without adding bulk, volume without frizz, and movement without losing the length I love. Every cut I’ve had with him has been consistent, flattering, and easy to manage—even as the weeks go by. That’s rare to find. 100% recommend!

I’ve never had a keratin straightening before and it’s a game changer. Ruby is the best at what she does. My hair is naturally curly and every time I straighten it, it always frizzes. But now it’s amazing and feels so much healthier!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you so much xx
