I had womb reiki and acupuncture on this visit! And it was extremely powerful, lots of emotions came out and this has helped me heal further in my recovery process! Charis has helped me in many ways over the years. Womb reiki is my go to treatment, in feeling more connected with myself, lighter, and my little girl does cartwheels inside. It’s difficult to describe as it’s so personal but I would highly recommend this combo of treatments!

Roomasa was amazing! I’ve had multiple Hydra Facials on my back here, and the results have been incredible. My back used to be covered in acne, but now it’s almost completely cleared up! I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful experience. The space was cosy, calm and welcoming and the session was magical. I felt so calm and relaxed after and the insights are after were on the nose and really help me to understand some things which finally allowed me to exhale and trust. Thank you Kristal I will be back

It was my first-ever acupuncture appointment, and I’m so happy to say that Dr. Zhao is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I feel amazing — I came in with very strong upper neck pain, and I already feel so much better. I’ll definitely be coming back for more sessions. It’s absolutely worth the money!

Oh my goodness, I’ve had two absolutely magical visits to Ilapothecary! Everything is thoughtfully designed and filled with a sense of calm. I’ve tried various treatments due to chronic pain, but none have come close to the incredible feeling I get there. Alexandra is incredibly skilled, does everything with such care, and has a really calming presence. It’s a special experience, and I can’t wait to go back soon! Thank you :)

Dr Zhao was delightful - very knowledgeable and exceedingly caring, making sure to explain everything to me in detail as it was my first acupuncture. She’s a seasoned pro so the needles were painless and the experience relaxing.

Dr Zhao is a hidden gem. I was very impressed with the whole experience from the consultation period to my first acupuncture treatment. Dr Zhao was very thorough, she asked questions, took the time to listen to my concerns, and explained her assessment of my condition and treatment plan. There was no pressure to rebook or buy anything. I felt very comfortable and confident in her ability. I honestly wouldn't go to anyone else now that I have discovered her. I would recommend her 100%

I have had an amazing experience. Charis is patient and calm which put me right in the mood for my treatment. As a long time sufferer of fibroids with 3 operations. NHS has advised nothing can be done last resort is a hysterectomy which is not an option. I reached out to Charis as have been following her for a while and the dedication, commitment in all the treatments she offers it shows her passion. It was time, well overdue I reached out. This 1st treatment my stomach- fibroids felt softer, I felt calmer it was like something had been lifted. Her hands are precious/a God sent. Recommended!

Today I had my first acupuncture appointment with Dr. Xuejing Zhao. I was met by a very nice and friendly doctor. She is a very competent specialist in her profession. The doctor carefully listened to my problems and invited me to the treatment room. It is very clean, warm and cozy. Dr. Zhao treated me very carefully and I felt very comfortable here, I liked the acupuncture. I am very glad to have met this kind and qualified doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Zhao.
