Wat is beter, acryl- of gelnagels?

Het is echt een kwestie van persoonlijke voorkeur. Gels geven een natuurlijkere, glanzender afwerking dan acrylverf, maar acrylverf is meestal sterker. Gelnagels uitharden onder een UV-lamp; acrylverf begint te uitharden zodra ze aan lucht worden blootgesteld. Ze kunnen beide worden gebruikt om nagels te verlengen. Gels gaan 2 weken mee en moeten dan worden verwijderd; acrylnagels gaan 6-8 weken mee, maar moeten na 2-3 weken worden gevuld om hergroei te verbergen. Beide kunnen je natuurlijke nagels beschadigen, dus het is altijd het beste om een ervaren nagelstylist te zoeken die de toepassing, het vullen en het verwijderen voor je kan doen.

Waarom groeien nagels sneller met acryl?

Dat doen ze niet. Menselijke nagels groeien elke maand rond de 3 mm (1/8"), of je nu kunstnagels draagt of niet. Acrylnagels laten je natuurlijke nagels niet sneller groeien, maar door hun lengte kunnen ze de indruk wekken dat je eigen nagels sneller zijn gegroeid.

Wanneer moet ik mijn acrylaat verwijderen?

Een volledige set acrylnagels kan 6-8 worden gedragen en moet vervolgens worden verwijderd.

Waarom doen acrylnagels pijn?

Acrylnagels kunnen samentrekken en strakker worden na het aanbrengen en dit kan ongemak veroorzaken; het mag echter niet langer dan 24 uur duren. Als je daarna pijn ervaart, kan dit een teken van schade of infectie zijn, vooral als je nagels te laag zijn gevijld of je nagelriemen te ver naar achteren zijn geduwd vóór het aanbrengen. Om infectie, schade en ongemak te voorkomen, raden we altijd aan om je acrylnagels door een ervaren nageltechnicus te laten aanbrengen, vullen en verwijderen.

Hoe worden acrylnagels zonder tips genoemd?

Acryl overlays. Ze worden op de bovenkant van je nagels aangebracht en zien er natuurlijker uit. Ze kunnen dunner zijn dan een volledige set acrylnagels en reiken niet verder dan de lengte van je natuurlijke nagels.
