It's always a great idea to choose Daiane for waxing. There aren't many options around Durham that offer a wide range of waxing services. She is one of the few who provides great service. Miracles is also conveniently located.

Literally the best haircut I've ever had in the chillest environment ever. Lou is so nice and even taught me to style my hair properly (let me hold the straightener and demo on my own hair!!) Playlist is 10/10 too. Probably gonna come back and get a colour later this year :)

Lou is very friendly, welcoming and professional. The salon set up is such a lovely, quirky place and handy as it’s right in the centre of Durham. It was without a doubt the best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair looks so healthy and styles so much easier now. Highly recommend and definitely will go back to Lou again soon.

Unexpectedly found myself staying in Durham and needed a hair cut…. always difficult choosing where to go in these circumstances. Rachel at Belle Ame was great, I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she created it perfectly. Nicely blowed dried and very quick too!

Ciara is always amazing. She knows exactly what I need and delivers every time. She always makes me feel comfortable.fortable and welcome. Would highly recommend.

A friend & I booked pin-ups for a destination wedding held at a beautiful spa & event hall in Durham. Matthew was our stylist. He was very accommodating with our schedule as we had to reschedule about a week before when our times for the day had changed. Matthew is an absolute delight! He was able to create the look we both wanted and even allowed us to come back a couple of hours later so he could secure our fascinators & touch up the final look. The salon is a hidden gem & all of the staff are quite lovely. This is the place if you’re looking for fantastic & friendly service.

The most perfect hair cut and conversation I've ever had! Lou is a gem, the vibes are immaculate, and it's so perfect for students. 😍 Can't wait to visit again! ✨️

Great experience, very fairly priced for a student - so happy with my hair for the ball!!

Came to Durham to visit my son and stayed at the Marriott hotel. I thought I would just try the hairdresser and beauty therapist in their car park. They are both the best I have ever had and I am honestly considering coming back to Durham every 4-6 weeks to not only see my son but to get my hair a beauty treatments done also. They are just perfect! So pleased with the end results. Thank you

Matthew was absolutely brilliant when I managed to get an appointment while visitin Durham this weekend. I felt really safe with the salon's Covid security measures and Matthew put me at ease with his hilarious stories! I can't recommend Belle Ame highly enough.

my hairdresser, Ruby really understood how to deal with my curly hair. I had an idea in mind she suggested some improvements from my consideration and I love the cut. I will definitely be back
