I’ve been living in Newcastle for 2 years and this so by far the best cut I’ve had. Phil is an experienced barber having ran the popular shop in town for the last 7/8 years and now opening this new shop in Heaton. Much easier for myself as there is free parking along Chillingham road too. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of cut and tailoring the cut specifically for my head shape and face. If you’re looking for something specific and tailored to you, something not generic, then I’d recommend going to Mr Tilly’s in Heaton.

Can’t recommend Mr Tillys enough, been visiting the central Newcastle shop for a good few years. New place is in a great location with handy parking! Looks and smells just as good as the original, Phil always takes time to understand what I want and the results are always first class. This man knows how to cut hair and run a successful business! More than a barbershop. It’s a special place where like minded folk have the best banter and obviously get a cracking haircut in the mix. complimentary drinks set a great tone to the friendly relaxed atmosphere. Always busy and that says a lot in a saturated market in Newcastle. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Brilliant work guys.

As soon as you walk into the shop it’s a such a cool friendly place. The banter is second to non and the comp drinks just polish off what is the best place for a hair cut. I moved away from Newcastle last year but still travel for Phil to do his magic on my hair. If I could of said 6 stars i would have. Keep up the great work lads.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cold beer. Ben did a great job on my hair, and was chatty and friendly. He recommended some cool bars to check out after the Deafheaven gig we were in town to see. Zerox was a big hit! Thanks Ben and the gang, hope I can make it to Newcastle again some day, I'll deffo book an appointment again.

Jude is the best barber in Newcastle, plan and simple. The guy does it all from buzz cuts to the cleanest fade on this side of the Northern Sea. Amazing barber, even better guy.
