Excellent little spot. Have been using sauna's for years to manage my arthritis. But thought old try the ice bath, After reading lots of positive stuff, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The studio itself is clean and tidy. The staff are excellent. Very helpful and friendly. And the local mineral water is a great touch. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Loved the red light sauna! Was so relaxing and the room was set up so well too for maximum comfort and being able to watch netflix while in the sauna was great. The nice Aloe Vera drink was lovely and the staff were great too. Will be making this a regular treatment for sure! Thanks team! X

We booked a double floating experience in the Marino Room. We were really impressed with it, everything was so cosy, beautiful and clean. We were completely sore from the Taranaki Summit Climb we did the day before. We had a really enjoyable conversation with the owner and she was so kind to offer us a Normatec Compression service as a bonus. We loved the experience and it is a good reason on its own to return to New Plymouth soon.

Best sauna in Taranaki, Varnell and Kenzie are great!!👍🏾👍🏾

Such a relaxed environment, peaceful and nurturing as well as the health benefits of an infra red sauna. I sauna every day for 15mins at the gym, but the difference with the infrared and being able to stay in for longer - I notice the benefits are much more longer lasting. Always find I am more relaxed and calm, whereas the dry saunas can activate the nervous system quicker.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was explained well on how to control the sauna and music and coloured lighting and how to get the best out of the ice bath experience .Everything so so clean and it was my own private sanctuary for an hour. Well worth the money and so relaxing and just what I needed to help me heal following my mum's passing 10 days ago. This is a wonderful business and the owner Georgia was. Lovely and passionate about the benefits of this treatment. I will be back and I highly recommend.

As a first time customer at Floatation Sanctuary the experience was exceptional. Very clean and things were explained very well prior to entering recovery room, i particular enjoyed the bluetooth feature of the sauna and the body dryers were a nice touch and something bit different.

I really enjoyed my experience at the floatation Sanctuary. It was my first experience there and I didn't know how it would go since I have social anxiety. Fortunately, the staff were extremely understanding, kind and helpful when it came to making me feel less anxious. Their briefing of the compression, sauna and floation pod was detailed and clear to me. They also gave me good recommendations to improve my experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a good relaxation, good detox and even a good sleep if you need one.

So good from not knowing what to do and getting the run down from the lovely staff member on how everything works made the contrast therapy experience even more enjoyable. My partner and I booked the Ice Bath + Sauna 60mins x2 people, from the moment we walked in the door we felt calm and relaxed, the space felt very private and smelt amazing! The complimentary mineral water was an added bonus and the shower was a perfect way to end our relaxing sauna and warm up from the ice bath. Georgia is super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
