He pays attention to the natural sectioning of your hair, the texture/thickness and achieves the look you want based on how your hair behaves. Thanks Robin, you’re the best!

I spotted this salon while walking around the area a few days ago and booked an appointment to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Haru had just moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong after working in Tokyo and Osaka. He was incredibly stylish, skilled, patient, and paid great attention to detail. He gave me a fantastic haircut and also took the time to show me how to style and maintain it at home. Highly recommended. Thanks, Haru!

My hair stylist was very professional and great at listening to my needs. His highly skilled techniques plus the use of quality products resulted in a fantastic hair cut, blow wave and colour for under $200. I liked the way he also applied a complimentary hydrating hair product after rinsing the colour resulting silky smooth hair. I also loved the cappuccino even though it was served in a disposable cup. Excellent value for inner Melbourne.

Best hairdresser in Melbourne!! Jay is an absolute delight and his skills are off the charts. He never tries to ‘sell’ unnecessary treatments and gives wonderful advice re styling & colour. I haven’t been to the hairdresser much in my life and only once since moving to Australia, so I was a little nervous. But from the moment I walked into Joey Myers Hair Salon, I felt completely comfortable and had such a fun experience. i've been to assort a couple of times for perms and haircuts but i'm leaving this review for kousei specifically because he completely blew me away! i have very fine and straight hair that struggles to retain volume and kousei not only gave me the exact haircut i wanted that suited me completely, but he also gave me a rundown on how to style my hair with what products to make sure i can still get volume without a perm. on top of that he was an amazing conversationalist, super friendly, and showed great detail and care in cutting my hair. and he gave me an great scalp massage. ily kousei!! xoxo

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a good hair salon during my stay in Australia, but the stylist gave me such a perfect haircut! In Korea, I used to get regular perms because my hair tended to stick out, but now it looks great and easy to manage just with a haircut — no perm needed.
