First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

I had gel toes done by senior nail tech and it was done within a good time frame enabling me to meet a time for a prior engagement. It didn't take as long as what is advertised and the standard of the work was the best I have found so far in Plymouth. I’ve had a back injury for around 8 years now and have the odd flare-up. This time I’ve done it good and proper (probably the worst since initial injury) and managed to get last min appt with Gabriela. Anna is a wonderful hairdresser and colourist. I live in London and I now book my hair cuts and highlights in with her when I am in Plymouth. She cut my nine year old’s hair today and she was so kind and takes such care in her work - my daughter loves the cut!!

I have a shoulder injury which has been causing me issues with my upper back and neck. Martine knew exactly where to work and her techniques just seemed to dissolve the issues over the hour. I had such a lovey and relaxing massage. I chose an Indian head massage. Nadia made me feel super comfortable and I felt less stressed. She used some lovely smelling oil and got rid of my knots. Me and G had a fantastic time. His only request for Christmas was a 'spa day'. This was his first salon experience and he loved every minute, the staff were so lovely, kind and inclusive and took their time to listen to what he wanted and to make conversation with him. He came out absolutely beaming and says he wants to go back for his birthday too! I was also treated wonderfully and could relax for my treatments knowing G was being cared for wonderfully. I would definitely recommend to any parents with Sen children who would like a treat! 😁

Had my first bikini line wax with Carra today, left my nerves at the door and my brave face was on. Carra is amazing, I felt relaxed the whole time, tiny bit of pain but I'm sure I will get used to when I go back time and time again.
