My wife and I went to Hive for the first time and were both extremely pleased with the experience. The salon is very bright, smart and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and polite. Our cuts were carried out carefully according to our requests and were excellent - in fact among the best we have ever had. A head massage and coffee were included and the price was very good for the service we received. We will both return to Hive in the future and strongly recommend it.

Yuma was the one who did the head spa for me. She knows her stuff. I really appreciate that she put in just the perfect amount of strength in the massage, as I had masseuses put in too much strength or too little in the past. You can tell she puts in a lot of attention in her techniques, doesn't half-ass anything, and treats her clients extremely courteously like someone from Japan. The whole experience was quite relaxing too, as I nearly fell asleep during some portions. I would come here again if I am a Vancouver resident, but I live in Toronto!!!! People in Vancouver are blessed.

Absolutely amazing experience! The upper body coconut oil massage was blissfully relaxing, then the deep sleep Japanese scalp head massage by Nonoka sent me dreaming twice. The people behind all aspects of this experience are outstanding, their techniques, skill and friendliness are out of this world. Than you again and looking forward to coming back again soon.

Nikki was AMAZING!! I went for body oil massage and LED therapy for my face but I wasn’t sure if the LED was a suitable option for me so, Nikki helped me to choose an option that best suits me. She suggested I go for a body detox and a head massage and it was GREAT!! The body massage was amazing as well, the oil bag, the hot stone and the massages were just fantastic! I am definitely going back 🫶🏻❤️

I was here about a week ago with Tomoni for a bang perm. My hair has always had trouble keeping a perm, so a couple days after the initial appointment, I noticed that my perm was straightening out again. Calling the salon for a complementary fix was extremely easy. I didn't want to be a "Karen" but they didn't hesitate to book me for a second appointment to redo it at no extra charge. Tomoni was just as kind, patient and diligent as last time and I received a head massage again too. I really recommend this salon. It's clear they value customer satisfaction!

This was my first time at this salon and I had a wonderful experience with Tomoni! All I got was a bang trim and bang perm but I was given an incredibly relaxing shampooing and head massage at no additional charge. She was very sweet, patient and detailed. She took her time to make sure everything was how I wanted. I would come again :)

Mika did both treatment for head massage and eyelash lift! It was really great as always! Soaking foot bath to start, and after finishing both treatment I was served Yuzu tea! Both treatment was for one hour and half, and I was just relaxing for a whole time! Definitely I will go back again!! Thank you

From the moment you walk in everyone was so welcoming. The room is smaller than expected but once you are on the table and the experience started I didn't even notice anymore. I had Mai ( I hope I remembered her name correctly) the neck, arms, hand, shoulder and head massages she gave me were wonderful, my hair felt so great after and it was very relaxing from the start to finish including while they dried my hair. Will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tomomi again after four or five years! I went back this weekend and booked Tomomi as i only knew her from before. The staff in the front are friendly and take care of their clients. They offer a locker and coat closet until clients are done with their appointments. The head massage is still as wonderful as the first time i went. Tomomi is a delightful and lovely lady. Her head massages are wonderful as i remember. We had a good chat during my appointment and she is gentle with her hands. Thank you Tomomi!

I am so impressed at the level of service I received at this place! Their system double booked me and they asked if my spot can be rescheduled. When I told them that I'm coming with a friend on that day, they made sure that I got to keep my spot and that my friend and I have the same time slot! The head massage was absolutely perfect. I loved it.

This was my first time experiencing a head spa treatment. It was more relaxing and blissful than I had imagined.　I would like to receive head spa treatments on a regular basis in the future, as the accumulated dirt on my scalp cannot be removed by regular shampooing. The consultation, oil massage, shampooing, and spa with warm running water were all excellent. I would recommend it to everyone who cares about your hair and scalp!

My husband and I had the “Drift Into Bliss” head spa packages done at the same time. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating! The service never felt rushed, and it was super relaxing and rejuvenating 🩷 Very very nice staff and fabulous service, we would absolutely go back!

Kimmy was so friendly and did an amazing job with accommodating our group of 4 for a shoulders, neck, scalp massage. So relaxing!
