Anna is a wonderful hairdresser and colourist. I live in London and I now book my hair cuts and highlights in with her when I am in Plymouth. She cut my nine year old’s hair today and she was so kind and takes such care in her work - my daughter loves the cut!!

I had gel toes done by senior nail tech and it was done within a good time frame enabling me to meet a time for a prior engagement. It didn't take as long as what is advertised and the standard of the work was the best I have found so far in Plymouth. I am over the moon with the service the girls give me at Ugly Bettie's and that's why I keep going back to them. Thanks girls. 🥰

I had two treatments with Shannon over consecutive days. Press therapy and a facial. She took great care to explain the treatments and what to expect. She tailored the facial which I really appreciated. Great salon and very calming. I’ll visit again when I’m next in Plymouth.

Karen did my makeup for my son’s wedding yesterday, and I honestly couldn’t have been happier. She was absolutely incredible from start to finish — professional, talented, and so lovely to have around on such a special day. My makeup looked beautiful and lasted perfectly from the moment she applied it until I went to bed at midnight, which really impressed me. It still looked fresh hours later through all the emotion, photos, and celebrating. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a truly professional makeup artist.

First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

Louise is very lovely and professional and explains treatments to you without being a complicated description by technology garb. This salon is so lovely with such great friendly staff, who recognise you when you arrive and make you feel welcome. I have my nails done here and have had other treatments done, I love this salon. So glad I found this salon after my ex nail tech stopped doing nails, I now have them done by the lovely Dawn. A lovely local beauty therapy salon, I wouldn’t go anywhere else now xx

Karen did my daughter's prom make up. She made sure all products were suitable for her sensitive skin and explained everything she was doing and what she was using. Took the time to find out exactly what my daughter wanted and that she was completely happy when she finished. Fantastic! Thanks Karen 😊

Sandra was very professional and friendly. As a person which barely use any makeup she managed to do lovely evening glam makeup which didn't felt too heavy on my face. 100% recommend and will definitely use her again.

As always, Louise was professional, welcoming and incredibly helpful. My lashes looked absolutely fabulous – exactly the way I wanted them. All the ladies working there are warm, friendly and make you feel instantly comfortable. It’s a real treat from the moment you step inside. I would highly recommend Beyond Beauty to anyone who wants some well-deserved time for themselves.
