Barbara was amazing, as was the young lady assisting her on my hair. Everyone was very friendly in the shop and extremely accommodating with getting bundles purchased and installed in a timely manner. My hair only took 4 hours and came out very neat and as I wanted. I’ll only be getting my hair braided here from now on!

I went in originally thinking I would get knotless boho braids, but after my stylist KE evaluated my hair especially the breakage in the back she recommended small box braids instead. I was a little hesitant at first because I really wanted the knotless look, but I’m so glad I trusted her . The braids came out incredibly neat and seamless. The knots are so small they almost look like knotless braids anyway. She was very fast and efficient despite getting small braids I was in and out in about 5 hours. I’m really grateful I found KE She was professional, honest about what my hair needed 10/10

As a dual beauty supply store and Hair Braiding salon I’m satisfied with this establishment and their staff. I’ve been getting my hair braided here a little over 3 years and have yet to have a problem. I normally book first am appointments. Always greeted with respect and before they begin their day, they pray first. Book online through their Fresha app to avoid any confusion. There is a deposit required and applied towards your total balance. They are hardworking and get you in and out as quickly as possible as they each complete two or more heads each shift. Prices are reasonable.

This is my second time working with Ke and I’ll choose her every time! She’s kind and personable and FAST! Both times I’ve gotten small braids and have been out in about 3 hours! She’s really the best!

This was my second visit to the shop and I’m so pleased with how my hair came out! Naomi and the young ladies assisting her did a BEAUTIFUL job on my small bora bora braids. They started at 9:30 and I was out the door by 1:30. The shop is always clean and you can guarantee amazing service from all the braiders to the cashier in the beauty supply, which is why I keep coming back. Martha’s is the perfect place for anyone that wants quality haircare at a good price and exceptional service without spending 12+hrs in a shop!

Elom & Yaya were a good team. They worked on my hair with minimum breaks & finished my hair in under 3 hours… 😳 still can’t believe it! They were professional, consistent, and kind.

Barbara did a good job checking in with me on size and length of the twist but she did give me regular twists instead of the knotless that I requested and paid for (even though I confirmed twice that I was getting knotless). (I didn't notice until now). The style is still super cute and super neat though! And she did a great job!

Barbara was very professional and I had a great experience overall. I got s(medium) knotless braids and was done in 3 hours. Braids are very lightweight and not tight.

Susanna was great. Her service was on point. Loved to hear her sing hymns in her native language. My only issue isn't with her but with the fact that every time I come there, something isn't how it should be. This time, I booked midback knotless. I left with waist length because my length wasn't in stock...again. Who does inventory? This isn't the 1st time. I pray that all is well with Martha. Shes normally on point.

The only braider I want at Marth’a Beauty Supply and Braiding! Gillian is a sweetheart that gets right into it! Her work is impeccable! She gives the same detail precision and attention to every braid — start to finish! Her coworkers are always complimentary of her work and that speaks volumes! She is a Braider’s braider— that’s who I want in my head.

Most of the braiders were running a little behind on Saturday, which is not unusual. Mercy made up for that time, and finished my hair in great timing. She was gentle (I am very “tenderheaded”) and even though my hair is very short on the sides, she got every strand into the braids neatly. I was very happy with my braids.

Effeh is a phenomenal braider. I have no complaints regarding her workmanship. However, there has been a discrepancy for my last two appointments in regard to twist style, length and pricing.

I was in and out. The braiders took down my soft locs within less than an hour. The atmosphere was spacious and the braiders were so hospitable.

Went in for the 1st time for crochet passion twists for convenience and protection from the elements. Mina did my hair and she was fast, knowledgeable and efficient. I love my hair and look forward to coming again❤️

Emmy and her colleagues was so nice and amazing! My hair has never looked so neat coming from braiders in Houston. I am new to the area and am giddy about my hair and overall experience. They took their time, we courteous and thoughtful. I’m so happy I’ve found my place in just moving to Chicago a week ago!!!
