So sad that we are moving to Calgary Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 On Friday Morning ( Black Friday ) After Searching in Winnipeg for a hairdresser sincei came to Winnipeg from Vancouver British Columbia I finally found a hairdresser that does my hair exactly how I like it and now we have to move tomorrow as this is our final day living in Winnipeg 😔 Thank You Suzan definitely going to miss you 😔

So I Recently lost my Hairdresser to maternity leave as she Recently had a baby and had been looking for a dreadlocks hairdresser . Things didn't look too good until I went to St Vital Shopping Mall and was walking pass a store named ( Dark ShugarStudio ) And the rest was History . I highly Recommend Dark Shugar If your looking to get your Dreadlocks Maintenance like I did or other Hairstyles Thank You Suzanne , Awesome Job on my dreadlocks Maintenance . I am definitely Rebooking for sure , My daughter will be making an appointment as well . Once Again Thank You very Much See you in a few week

I loved getting my mature locs maintained there. So professional, so capable and so personable. I spent my whole appointment laughing and engaging in great conversation. I have a sensitive skull and I don’t know how but Helena was able to tighten my locs without hurting my head. This was a first for me. I have never left a hair salon without pain in my life, have you? lol. I would recommend that Helena get a raise, she is that good.

The atmosphere at Dark Sughar is relaxing and fun. All the chairs were full up so many women trusted them as well as I did. I had not had my dreadlocks maintained for 3.5 months so I had a lot of growth. Hope was so skilled, she finished my hair quickly and I really like it. Well done ladies!

I love my hair. I came in with 6 months of untouched dreads. I was worried that my hair was beyond repair but my Loctian conquered it. Thank you for all you have done. I feel like I have had a boost in my self-confidence because my dreads look nice now.

I booked with Hope to install some dreadlocks and wow, she did a great job! It was my first time coming to the salon for this service and since my hair is super thin, I didn’t know what to expect. Hope did a perfect job and was so skillful, polite and understood my request from the get go. I’ll be back for sure.

I rarely get my hair done and for my first ever service at dark Shugar, I got the best experience of having the exact hair I wanted and it came out great. Blessing was a gem and she took the opportunity to make sure that I loved the hair which I’m glad she did. It made me happy that what I envisioned came out even better than I expected. 5 star experience and service from dark shugar, would definitely recommend anyone to come get their beauty services from here.

Great service from Abdullah! Always asks and confirms tweaks to my hair and beard trim. Also he's very knowledgeable when it comes to styling and can suggest hairstyles to suit your face. Will be back time and time again to see him!
