I came to Suzu after spending a month hiking in rural Alaska and my hair was headed in a bad direction. Suzu immediately understood what I needed, where we needed to remove length, and rescued me. Best haircut ever, I’m so sad that I’m only visiting in Honolulu. I would highly recommend Suzu to everyone!!

I was notified 15 minutes before my appointment, that I was being rescheduled with another stylist. Fortunately it was the owner that took care of me. He was quick, efficient and witty. I have a beautiful new color and style. Thank you, Allen and Michelle for taking care of me.

Jonie was so nice and very gentle with my hair. I got a combination of the magic straight and collagen smoothing to help keep hair manageable. They were careful to only put the collagen treatment on my dyed sections. They explained what they were doing and why. Would recommend and come again

Yuki is an expert in his craft. I’ve never had a haircut and shave that left me so incredibly relaxed. His meticulous attention to detail is what keeps me coming back. Unfortunately I am not a native of Hawaii, but I will be sure to come back to this salon on my next trip. Best haircut and straight shave in Honolulu by far.

You will not be disappointed. This is probably the best place in the city to get a haircut. I have lived in Honolulu for a long time and I have been going to SKY for over a year. TAYLOR is a magician. No rush, great style, trust her with your head!

I needed roots colored and my haircut for an upcoming trip this week. I made a same day appointment online and it couldn’t have been easier! Jonie was my stylist and she is wonderful! Having self colored for a long time, I had multiple colors running through my roots (along with the gray)! Jonie blended color that when put on my roots, brought everything together and it looks great! I have long curly hair and Jonie definitely brought my curls back to life without sacrificing the length. I am so happy to have found Jonie and Salon Ava! I highly recommend both! Thank you Jonie!

I haven’t had my hair cut in a year and asked for layers but not to take too much length and my stylist did an amazing job! Super happy with my haircut. I wish I had gotten her name. Everyone was friendly and there was the cutest little puppy in there just cruising around, so nice.

Location was close to my hotel by Waikīkī . Salon is very clean and well kept . My hair stylist Tina was friendly, welcoming and efficient. She is a professional stylist will recommend and I will be back.

Always a wonderful experience and great results. Taylor was personable with great energy. She did a wonderful job with my haircut and color. Her head, shoulder, and neck massage was the bomb. Amazing firm massage to get those knots out. I travel from Los Angeles every two or so months and always book an appointment. Every stylist does excellent work and delivers the ultimate experience.

I always have a great experience with all the stylist dat Sky. The new Haircut and The Ultimate Recovery with Yuuki Sato included a Mini facial, Eye therapy, and Deep Scalp Cleaning was amazing. This is the first time I booked the three add-ons. I didn't want it to stop. Yuuki was so attentive to my comfort and experience. I highly recommend the Ultimate Recovery for true relaxation! Of course, my haircut was fabulous! I always walk out of the salon extremely satisfied. Thank you.

The staff were so kind and Jennifer was amazing! I scheduled my hair appointment same-day for a full color. My hair turned out a little more red than I would’ve preferred. Great service for a great price.
