My first visit to The Backyard Barber & Ash, Teleah & TJ couldn’t have been more friendly & welcoming. I am over the moon happy with my hair and have already booked my next appointment! No more colouring my hair myself & going to salon express for a trim. At last I have found my hairdresser!!

Ash was brilliant and could immediately see why I was disappointed with my haircut from my previous hair dresser and was able to take steps to rectify the style. Ash was friendly, professional, gave the best head massage and overall, the price for value was exceptional. I will definitely be back.

Excellent and quick, our 3 year old hated haircuts but Ash did an amazing job and he didn't cry once. The sensory room is the perfect distraction for him, will definitely be a repeat customer

Was the best experience I have had with my son to date. Reasonable pricing and quick work getting my son’s haircut done in no time. Worked around what my son was willing and not willing to have done and didn’t force what wasn’t wanted by my son. Made the experience fun and friendly by explaining to him what was happening as it was happening. Showing him how the clippers work and getting him involved making him feel comfortable. For my son who struggles with sensory issues, we walked out with a fresh new cut and feeling no stress. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing! I have a child with special needs and HATES haircuts. They even followed him around on his own terms and worked with him. Hands down great experience for both my timid boys!

It was fantastic, my son got his first haircut today and for a child on the spectrum it can be quite challenging but our barber was amazing and my son loved it :) Can’t wait to book the next one in :)

I was very impressed. My little Mr's first haircut, and he absolutely does not sit still! He made it look easy, and we were finished in no time with almost zero complaining from my Mr. Reasonably priced too, very happy and will definitely be returning next time he needs a trim.
