Really welcoming and explained everything thoroughly. My daughter was having her ears pierced, the room was clean and felt very hygienic and Meg really put my daughter ease “ the piercing was done in seconds (but not rushed!)! They also sell cute other bits and pieces! We will definitely return for future piercings and have already recommended to friends.

Meg and Diane were absolutely lovely, and put me and my 10 year old daughter completely at ease. She was in for her first ear piercing, but Meg was so professional, gentle and quick that it was over before we knew it! I even got mine pierced again as I was so impressed. I would highly recommend and will use Avalon again.

This is my go-to place. Super friendly, experienced, clean, well priced and great jewellery. Went to book an appointment for a new piercing and ended up having it done there and then which was great :O) I had my tragus pierced today and all went smoothly. Pain free and expertly done. Thank you and see you as soon as it is healed to get my conch pierced on the other ear! x

My friend and I got our ears pierced here and the whole process was surprisingly simple! They squeezed my friend in straight after me (even though her appointment wasn't for another hour), and so it took about half an hour for both of us which was great! Flik was our piercer and she was AMAZING, really calming, really funny, and we both just really loved her vibes. I'm honestly in love with my new earrings, and the aftercare information was explained really well too. I'll definitely be coming back for other piercings, thank you so much for such an awesome experience!!

As always Meg was professional and informative about what was going to happen, and ensured that I was OK during and after the piercing. Meg took extra care to get the two nose piercings in the best placement possible. I could not be happier with the result.

Brilliant experience today with Megg and the team. Had a lot of piercings in the past and Avalon Rooms far exceed all the others by miles. Will definitely recommend to others. My piercing is beautiful and I was so impressed with how quick Megg was so don't fear if you are worried about needles as it'll be over before you've even blinked 🤗

Couldn't recommend this place any more! Everyone was super lovely and welcoming. It didn't feel intimidating like some piercing places do. Best practices in piercing were clearly a top priority and I felt completely reassured. Megg also took time to answer any questions I had and make sure I was 100% happy with the placement before going ahead. Honestly wish I'd had all my piercings done there, and will go back as soon as I can think of a reason 😁

Couldn’t be better ~ really clean, comfortable, professional studio with clearly excellent hygiene standards, it couldn’t be further from some of the dingy little tattoo and piercing studios I’ve visited previously. Megg is lovely, really friendly, and a very skilled piercer, she paid a lot of attention to detail with the preparation, until I knew I’d be perfectly happy with the piercings and their positioning. The piercings themselves were done as swiftly, deftly, and painlessly as possible, and I’m absolutely delighted with them. Thank you so much, Megg!

Excellent as always. Megg and Di are always professional, knowledgeable and great fun to deal with. No need for nerves in The Avalon Rooms 😊 Had a helix piercing and a new earring for one of my conch piercings. Lovely jewellery and great prices with easygoing, efficient, hygienic setting. I cannot thank you enough for being so kind and patient with Mya! You were just what she needed. When you're scared, anxious and autistic, but dying for your ears pierced, it's not easy! But the calmness and patience helped her no end, she's absolutely thrilled with herself and I couldn't he more grateful!

Absolutely first class. The lady that greeted us was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome. The lady that pierced our ears was brilliant. I was very nervous and she completely made me feel at ease. It was so quickly and efficiently done but absolutely not rushed. The care taken over making sure everything was right was very evident, and everything was explained to us. Even when we'd had it done, the initial lady spoke to us again with more help and advice on aftercare. If I ever get a pirecing again I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Brilliant. I've got lots of piercings but this was my first in ages as I was worried I was too old but Megg made feel at ease and did a great job at piercing the other side of my nose. I'm very chuffed. Keep looking at myself in the mirror 🤣 Thank you.

Every piercing I have had as an adult has been performed by Flic, and every time she creates a relaxing welcoming environment and gives you the confidence that your body is in safe hands. She is honest about whether or not piercings and placements are suitable to ensure the lowest chance of rejection and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do piercings for me. I would highly recommend The Avalon Rooms to anyone wanting a body piercing.

Megg was an absolute delight. Better than anyone I’ve got a piercing from She is very knowledgeable and the whole process took 5 minutes whilst explaining everything clearly! I got a nose piercing and it was painless (well as painless as it can be). Went perfectly and will be back very soon for more!
