Rex was perfect and I would definitely go back for another haircut! He was very understanding of what I wanted (trim with curtain bangs and layers), and I felt so confident after it was done. He took his time with the haircut, and styled it so well at the end by giving me more volume and curls. He’s definitely a master of his craft—I’m very happy. Also, the woman who washed my hair was very thorough, and her massage felt so relaxing!

I came to the salon with three years of post-chemo therapy growth and it was wild. Robert did a brilliant job of cutting and styling my hair to perfection. I left feeling wonderful and my frizzy, coarse curls were soft, manageable and practically smiling themselves. He is a true curl whisperer.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

I went to this beautiful day spa for the first time.It was amazing. Luna is the best ever. 10 star experience the whole time. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a special retreat.I will be back in two weeks . My skin looks amazing. My body feels relaxed and completely different.

The blow out was nice and the salon is beautiful. I didn’t like being asked if I wanted a wave to my hair(which I did) and then got charged $15 dollars extra. I don’t have long hair but I thought 50 dollars plus a tip was expensive. Also after I left I didn’t love how the curls fell so I had to put it up which defeats the purpose. Overall the salon was clean and beautiful but my bad for not asking if curls were extra.

Amazing experience! Everyone was so courteous and friendly. My nail technician did an amazing job! I’ve been in Newark, for over 20 years, and have always traveled to New York, after dealing with a lousy experience at another salon. I will definitely be back 😉!

Absolutely amazing, not only is the environment beautiful, the workers are fantastic and assist you at every turn. I got a perm today and it came out exactly how I envisioned it, compared to any other salon in New York, this has to be the best one by far.

I had such an amazing experience with the head spa treatment. From the moment it started, I could feel all the stress and tension melting away. The massage was incredibly relaxing, and the scalp treatment felt so refreshing and soothing. My scalp feels deeply cleaned, lighter, and healthier, and I even noticed how refreshed my whole body and mind felt afterward. The staff was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and peaceful, which made the treatment even more enjoyable.

Irene is such a wonderful lady who is kind and considerate on what you the customer wants in their haircut. 10/10 experience from start to finish and will come here again probably as a permanent perm/haircut salon. What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs).
