Harix was amazing with my curly cut. He took the extra time to talk through styles - I only had a few directions and no particular style request. I'm so happy with the way he understood and cut my hair, he's very experienced and loves cutting curly hair. He also took weight off my curls to give them some bounce. Would 100% recommend for all curly cuts.

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Another great visit!! My daughter absolutely loves her curly hair short and Crissel delivers each and every time making my daughter extremely happy. As long as we live in New York and Crissel is in business we will always book with her.

I just had the most amazing experience with Dina! She did a full head of highlights, a cut, blow dry, and styled my hair with beautiful curls. This is hands down the best my hair has ever looked and felt. Not only is Dina incredibly talented, but she’s also such a pleasure to spend a few hours with. I walked out feeling so good about myself that I’m tempted to take myself out to dinner! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who truly transforms your hair and your mood.

First time client, Martha cut my hair, and the cut is great. Gave me the style I asked for and I like it. However, reason for 4 stars, pricing is deceiving. I was charged for wash and cut $45, plus wash and dry $50, total of $95. My hair was only washed once. I wasn't asked if I wanted a blow dry, which no problem I figured maybe another 20-25 bucks to blow dry. Other than the pricing staff is nice, salon is clean, but ask for pricing prior to your appointment. If I go back I'll just be getting the wash and cut. I'm used to paying $50 for wash, cut and blow dry.

Great experience here at TriBeCa hair studio, my stylist listened to my needs and executed my blow dry the way I wanted. It was my first time in New York as I’ve travelled from London. Will come back here again whenever I’m in New York! Thank you girls! 🥰🥰

Been getting my hair cut by Ilker for a while now and he never disappoints. Great attention to detail, excellent fades, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. One of the best barbers I’ve had in New York. Highly recommend.

Another amazing haircut. I don't live in New York, but whenever I'm in town, I make sure to come and get my haircut with Rodica. My barber in the town I live in butchered my hair and miraculously she was able to get everything back to normal. Strong recommendation again.

Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Patricia is absolutely amazing. First, we did an eyelash extension fill, which of course was amazing. This was my first refill, and she really brought my eyelashes back to life I love them. Then I asked about getting a wash/blow out, and Patricia immediately lead me to the wash bowl and got to work. I have 3b/3c curls, and most places need to use a flat iron to really get my hair straight, but Patricia got my hair so smooth. I am so impressed and will without a doubt be coming back to her anytime I need a blow out.

Fabio is awesome. I came in for a blow dry but mentioned I wasn’t thrilled with my cut. I told him my needs and without blinking he knew what would look good. He styled it beautifully as well. I highly recommend Fabio’s Hair and Color Studio!

I was visiting NYC and I needed a blow dry, I was able to book straight away and the girls where super nice and helpful. The hair dresser gave me a really bouncy blow dry that lasted me for 1 week. Highly recommend.
