After knowing Robbie for years I was excited to see how impressive the new salon would be, and it did not disappoint. Such a gorgeous space, and is refreshingly not like every other hairdressers in Huddersfield. The team there are professional, friendly and as it was our first trip out after lockdown they made sure we felt safe and comfortable. The quality of the stylists skills speak for themselves, I have never left an appointment with anything less than a perfect style. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Highly recommend - Catalina is the best nail artist in the Huddersfield area! I've been going to her for years now. The nail prep and art are always pristine, and the nails survive the 3-4 weeks without any issues. She's also friendly and accommodating during appointments. Overall, it's always an amazing experience!

Cat made me feel really comfortable throughout the appointment and ensured I was happy with my hair at each stage before moving on. I absolutely love my new extensions, she does such an amazing job! Her experience shines through in her styling and colour matching.

Ella was amazing with my little boy, who has learning difficulties whilst cutting his hair. She was kind and kept him calm throughout. Thank you it is so hard to get a nice style with his curly hair but you managed it! His hair looks beautiful! 🤍

This was my second session with Rachel and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She truly puts her heart and soul into her work, and it shows in her incredible skill and attention to detail. The salon itself is fresh, tranquil and so welcoming, making you feel at ease straight away. It’s lovely to support a local business run by local ladies, and you can really feel it becoming part of the community. I’m so happy with my results and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Not many people can get my extremely thick & curly hair straight & smooth but Emma did. & on a very warm & humid day. If you have curly hair you’ll know what I mean. So I’m super happy & if Emma will have me & my thick hair back I’d love to go xx

I had such a great experience with my hairstylist! She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions based on my hair type and style. The end result turned out even better than I imagined—I’ve had so many compliments since! ☺️

Rachel is an exceptional artist at her profession. Her knowledge , literature and experience is second to none. All my questions or reservations i had before (layers of), process during consultation and after (new style tattoos) were answered, explained the reasoning behind them all. She is at the top of her game, felt so comfortable. Very delicate and soft with the needle touch so impressed with my new brows after a bad experience. Rachel has restored much hope and trust and truly thankful for her skills and patience with me .

I’ve been getting my hair done by Eloise for over a year now and I have to say Eloise is amazing! She makes anyone feel comfortable straight away, she listens to your wants and needs and provides realistic expectations. Every time I visit she always ensures I leave feeling exceptional! She is one of the best hair dressers I’ve ever been too. She’s also a great listener when you need to relive some stress 😂 very polite and professional, always makes sure you’re comfortable, always offers a drink and snacks! I would highly recommend her to everyone! Xxxx

Robbie is a really attentive personable hairdresser. I have been getting my hair cut & coloured by him for around 14 years! He knows just how to recreate my hair to suit me when I want to explore a new style and I always leave feeling great. Black House Salon is a spacious, modern, relaxing environment. There are also other stylists there that specialise in other styles to suit different people. I highly recommend.
