It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Another great visit!! My daughter absolutely loves her curly hair short and Crissel delivers each and every time making my daughter extremely happy. As long as we live in New York and Crissel is in business we will always book with her.

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

I had an amazing experience at this hair salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt high-end, welcoming, clean and relaxing. The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about natural hair. They maintained a very clean space, my stylist took great care of my hair and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I left not only loving how my hair looked, but also feeling like it was truly cared for. Overall, it was a luxurious and inviting experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

I like to book with Mariah whenever I can! I still remember the amazing trim and silk press she gave me earlier this year! She does great simple styles as well, like a wig braid down.

Tash Blaque truly exceeded my expectations! Erica R. gave me the most stunning twist out and her expertise really shined through. She was warm, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every product and technique, making sure I felt comfortable and confident in maintaining my hair. I’ve been seeing Crissel for my relaxer for nearly 2 years. It’s so hard to find a stylist that does perms/relaxers anymore as it’s being replaced with Keratin/Brazilian straightening which is outrageously expensive and doesn’t straighten at all unless your hair is very thin/fine and not as curly, or Japanese straightening which is a little stronger but still not enough. She’s great and is always open to suggestions for what you know works for your hair, and I’m glad I found her. I hope you do relaxers forever!

I had a wonderful experience at H2. Similar to other natural hair salons I’ve been to, but the vibe was a little more open and friendly. My natural hairstylist was amazing. She gave me great recommendations on products to use and how often I should be getting my ends trimmed. The whole process was straightforward from booking in to get in there to get my hair done. Everything was effortless and straightforward. I look forward to my follow-up in January.

Had a great experience with Stylist Cara today. She did an amazing job with my natural hair. It looks 100% better after she washed, treated, silk pressed and cut it for me. You. Guys should definitely check them out. Beautiful and safe environment and all the stylist were lovely.

I saw Jahlena for the first time for a trim. I really love the cut she gave me and I felt so pretty when I took my flat twist out the following morning. I’ve always embraced my 4C hair but the trim and flat twist set had me feeling so pretty even with the shrinkage.

I received the Blaque Carpet Treatment, which included both hair and makeup for my special event. From start to finish, the team was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. The salon has a great decor. Everything is really cute. I got there 15 minutes early for my appointment (the late policy scared me) and wasn't seen until 15 minutes after my appointment started. The hair stylist was apologetic and they communicated with me throughout the process. Once the appointment started, it went very well. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I received an actual consultation and recommendations for products to help my dry scalp and boost my natural curl pattern. Patrice cut my hair and did an amazing job. I'm impressed and excited for the hair journey!

Amazing salon! I came by recommendation and haven’t had a natural stylist in years and am particular about my hair but Lauren really brought it back to life!!! Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the shampoo girl. My hair has never felt better! Please come here.
