Absolutely incredible! It was our son’s first ever haircut and we’ve just moved to the area (he’s 18 months old). Couldn’t ask for a better experience, hairdresser or place! It’s amazing for little ones, the staff are so friendly and gentle. This will definitely be our regular. Our little boy loved it so much he didn’t want to leave

Lovely friendly salon with excellent hair stylists. I’ve been having my hair cut by Tony for around 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The prices are what you’d expect for Whitley Bay but you’re guaranteed a decent haircut. Would definitely recommend!

Dan is nothing short of class...great skills, great advice and just an all round great guy. I'd recommend him to anyone. He recently cut my son's hair who is very picky and does not enjoy getting his hair cut at all but Dan understood the assignment being calm, confident and chatty with my boy. Both of us are customers of Dan's for as long as possible. The Hoi Palloi, Whitley bay itself is great...relaxed, you can get a beer, decent music but the art work leaves a lot to be desired 😆

My son got his first haircut at 5 months old here. The stylist was amazing, he enjoyed the experience and looks so good. At the end I was given a first haircut certificate with some locks of his hair in an envelope. The whole experience was very positive, from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Top tier cut from Dan as always. I miss getting my hair cut by Jack, but he’s now the Taylor Swift of the HP so you need mates at TicketMaster to be able to get a seat with him. If you’re a massive fan of Josh Hartnett, he now works at the Whitley Bay shop.

Great Salon Greatly recommend sensory room haircut for children who don't like haircuts. My son managed so well during the haircut and the staff was very professional and skillful and aware of his sensory needs. 5 starts!!!

Best haircut I've had - and I have had a lot of haircuts (at very expensive city centre barbers in Manchester etc)! Alicia is also lovely and sociable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I had my haircut at Handsome Jack's for the first time. My stylist was Alicia, who I found to be very knowledgeable and did a great job. I will definitely be back soon, for my next haircut.

I had a wonderful experience at Fidget Saloon for my toddler’s haircut. The stylist who attended to my child was incredibly patient and did an excellent job. They ensured my little one was comfortable throughout, and the haircut turned out perfect. I highly recommend Fidget Saloon for anyone looking for a great experience with kids!

My 2 year old had been absolutely fine the previous 2 times we'd been to Fidgets but this time decided she REALLY did not want her hair cutting! I thought we'd have to just leave but the hairdresser (Bobby?) was absolutely brilliant and didn't rush us as all. She had loads of ideas to try and distract her and we did end up with a haircut, bit by bit in between lots of screaming! Thank you.
