I cannot thank Bryony enough for what she has done to my hair today- years worth of hair dye gone and turned it into a stunning light brown with blonde highlights. Another amazing visit to see Nathan - he always listens to exactly what I ask for and exceeds my expectations consistently. He is 100% an expert in blonde colouring - I couldn’t recommend more highly. The salon is relaxing, friendly and light, bright and airy. The seasonal touches to the decor make it a great place to spend a few hours, laughing and chatting.

As always fabulous! Bryony is super lovely and always makes me look 200% more groomed and stylish! I have had several compliments on my colour as well as my cut but I don't want to shout too loudly in case she gets any busier! A really comfortable salon with a very friendly vibe. So glad I found Amica Hair & Beauty 😊

I can’t recommend Kayleigh enough 🤍 After my long term hairdresser went on maternity leave and didn’t return, I had a few bad experiences that left me really nervous about trusting someone new. Kayleigh completely listened, understood exactly what I wanted, and absolutely understood the assignment. I love my hair and am so pleased with the results. It takes a long time to find your hairdresser, and I’m so glad I’ve found her. Thank you so much 🤍

As always, Summer managed to fit an appointment for my hair in at the last minute. I only needed a trim this time and it is well worth the travelling time ( nearly 3 hours )to come to Thirsk for my hair to be done

Fantastic experience with Summer. I messaged late last night hoping for a last minute appt and she fit me and my daughter in this afternoon. My daughter especially thinks she is lovely and “the best hairdresser” and has declared she will not go to anyone else. Really happy with the results and the price. Thank you

Nathan is the best hair dresser I’ve ever had, both in skills and personality! He does a fantastic job of my colour, cut and style with ease and he always knows what to do to suit me so I know I’m in good hands. If you’ve got long hair you know that salon appointments can be time consuming and lengthy but with Nathan it’s always fun and a pleasure to go, I love my time at the salon with him. We always have a giggle too! I’ve been going to Nathan for many years now and I often think he could be a hairdresser to the stars but until they find him I’m glad he’s my hairdresser!

Nathan has done a brilliant job again..I was nervous about getting extensions out. My hair was a mess before I started coming to Nathan which is why I needed them. Once I had my extensions put in he would nurture my hair every time the extension stylist did their maintenance. I wasn't sure what my hair would look like without them....of course I needn't have worried, he coloured, toned, cut, curled and styled it to perfection......no more extensions required for me.....my hair looks absolutely fabulous....thank you Nathan....you absolute legend 😍

I can’t thank Bryony enough .. having finally decided to embrace the grey I was so disappointed with the result I was getting .. I took the plunge and travelled to Thirsk from Durham. From first contact Bryony’s professionalism and obvious passion for what she does is impressive. I’m over the moon with the result and booked straight back in! … Grey blending is an art form in my opinion and Bryony nailed it …Thank you so much Bryony!

Today I had my Hair done in a cosy tranquil hairdressers in Thirsk called Amica hair and beauty , by the beautiful Bryony Elce who literally made me feel human again . From having hair grown out very long and patchy with old colour and grey , to. shoulder length beautiful hair , the colour Bryony put on matched my salt and pepper hair perfectly so looks so very natural . Bryony is a very easy to talk to young lady with such a wholesome attentive kind nature . She truly listens when you say what you’d like . Thank you so very much for make me feel amazing 💚
