I highly recommend these ladies! I usually get my nails done every 3 weeks, but was away on holiday and after 4 weeks, not a single chip or peel. The Fresh Coat was recommended to me about two years ago after a lot of disappointing manicures at several different places in Somerset West. I recently visited the Emperess Nails for a Gel overlay, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the experience! My nail technician, Vuyo was incredibly skilled and attentive. She listened carefully to my requests and worked her magic to create a stunning nail design. The salon itself is modern, clean, and beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I’ve been doing my nails with Zandri for 5 years now - best nail tech I’ve ever had. She always work with the utmost care and delivers an amazing result every time. Joy is also such a sweet assistant that I’ve been going to for laser treatment. She is always concerned about your comfort and making sure that you are having a positive experience throughout.

Buhle Vika is hands down the best nail tech out there. I’ve been going to Boa Somerset West for years, and while all the ladies are fantastic, Buhle’s attention to detail is unmatched. My simple gel sets easily last for more than three weeks.

I had a manicure at BOA Beauty Bar in Somerset West and overall, I’m happy with the result – my nails look great and the therapist was friendly and pleasant throughout the appointment. That said, I did feel the experience was a little rushed and a bit more attention to detail would’ve made a big difference, as I had to ask for a few nails to be reshaped because they were slightly jagged or uneven. That aside, I appreciate the service and the therapist's effort, and I’d still consider returning. With a little more time and focus, the experience could go from good to amazing.
