Mel was splendid, she has a tremendous amount of knowledge and really listens to and knows what your body needs to help heal itself and work better too. Mel gave me lots of really good stretches to do and was teaching me which muscles do what and how they help your body move, very interesting. I’ve Supported others to be treated by Mel over the last few years. Mel has always been excellent ;very positive, patient and understanding with a vast degree of knowledge to help her clients. I went to see Mel with a very specific localised sharp pain in my Achilles tendon insertion point into my heel bone. She was able to work on the soft tissue and also gave me advice on pain / knowledge of pain and management. She also used tiger tape on my ankle to provide additional support with my recovery. Within two days I was walking normally - no limp, no crutches, no painkillers.

Mel is fantastic! She takes the time to explain each step of the therapy process, ensuring I understand what she’s doing and how it benefits my muscles and tissues. Her kindness creates a nice calm, open and safe environment during the session. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Mel and discussing my needs and hearing her suggestions of what might be causing them.. She started some massage which was not too deep, at my request, and this eased some tension so hopefully, she will continue to develop this in future appointments. I left feeling very much more cheerful and hopeful that my problems could be improved in time. Mel is a very cheerful, friendly person who seems to have a deep knowledge of the human body and how problems with its parts can occur. I really look forward to my future appointment(s).
